My wife and I stayed here on Christmas Night 2016 whilst visiting relatives in Tonbridge. Room number 8 was booked for us by our daughter-in-law. We don’t know the managers/owners, they are not paying us, and this is the first time I’m looking up information about The Camden Arms. I say this because everything I’m going to write will take...

A big thank you to the owners and staff who really looked after my father. He had to stay for nearly two weeks as my mother was seriously ill. Everyone helped my dad in his stay looking out for him and helping with taxis and a friendly smile and greeting on seeing him. Made a traumatic experience more manageable.

I went with three friends for a pre-Christmas lunch. I ordered prawn cocktail as a starter which had far too much 'greenery.' My main was PESTO chicken breast and I had the option of vegetables from the Carvery or plated up in the kitchen - I opted for the latter. When my meal arrived the chicken was topped with chopped...

We stayed here for one night and that was enough. The owners/managers are rude, unpleasant and very aggressive in tone if you point out any problems. Bed very hard, room too dark with ALL the lights on to apply make up, view of an unkempt back garden, toilet flush too slow filling, shower dial means you HAVE to go through...

I fine your personal comment difficult to understand. The only time i spoke to you was to ask if you would like tea or coffee, and that i would cook the eggs for you. The only other verbal contact was when you passed the reception, in what can only be described as an angry rant. Other guests were appalled by...

We were only staying one night and ended up with the 4 poster bed room. On a wet day in November the room was warm and clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was big and powerful. What more could you ask for? As football fans we were eager to watch the England Scotland game and fortunately found a...

We've been a number of times for dinner, both as a couple and with family. They have great home cooked food. Only criticism is that on two occasions with a group of 7, they really struggled and even missed one persons meal completely. their meal finally appears as 6 others finish... a bit awkward. Junior staff were nervous, inexperienced and...

We werre in Pembury for my sister's golden wedding anniversary and she recommenced this hotel. We booked in for a couple of nights. The hotel is an old coaching inn and the front part is still the original building with a fairly traditional bar which als doubles as the restaurant area. The room we had was in a modern extension...

We had booked 2 rooms to be able to attend a wedding at High Rocks in Tunbridge Wells. The manager was extremely polite and helpful when we checked in on the Friday evening. The rooms although a bit dated with respect to the furniture were very comfortable and you had tea/coffee making machine, iron/ironing board and a nice size TV....

After the trauma of my husband being taken ill and being taken to Pembury hospital, (which is 3 minutes car journey, door to door from here), I needed somewhere last minute to stay. As the Mecure hotel next to the hospital was fully booked, their kind reception lady suggested the Camden Arms Hotel and phoned to reserve a room for...
