Was a beautiful escape from the city into a homely cottage with cute decor, surrounded by nature. Outdoor and indoor fireplaces makes for a cosy night. All amenities needed for a stay available in the cottage. We also enjoyed a little bush trek right outside the cottage. The sounds of the birds i the morning is a peaceful way to wake up. Would definitely recommend to anyway wanting a peaceful escape into nature.
What an amazing beautiful spot down South. We had the pleasure of staying a night in Cascade Cottage and couldn’t have wished for quieter get away. Gorgeous blue fairy wrens everywhere through the bush 😊
My apologies for the late review - we stayed in February 2020 and had the most amazing stay at Karridale Cottages. My husband, pup, and I enjoyed the most wonderful long weekend away in the couples cottage. The location is incredibly peaceful, while still within easy distance from the many wineries and restaurants the region has to offer. Every attention to detail was given, from high quality teas and speciality bath salts to defined walking paths around the property. We greatly appreciated the tips on local beaches/restaurants to visit with the pup in tow. We honestly couldn't recommend Karridale Cottages highly enough and we can't wait to visit again.
Overall a pleasant stay with the highlight being the fireplace in the evening. The wedding reception & dinner event over 2 days were great as glamping tents were rented and a marquee for the dinner itself complete with caterers & power generator etc The grounds were ample and the weather was not too cold The sleeping arrangements never the cottage was sufficiently warm with the beddings provided.
We've just returned from our second stay at Karridale Cottages and it was just as lovely as our first. This time we stayed in Cascade Cottage along with our pooch. The cottage is open plan including the bath and shower so definitely recommended for couples! The kitchen is very well equipped and we were able to cook a couple of evening meals. There's a good supply of wood for the fire so it was lovely and cosy in the evenings. It's such a beautiful location amongst the trees and there's a nice track around the forest to walk the dog and to spot kangaroos. We'll definitely be back and will be recommending to our friends and overseas visitors.
