Tried our local for an evening meal, and impressed by the standard of food served. Pleasant service, good atmosphere, varied menu with more than adequate portions. Also seemed to be a typical friendly village pub with local clientel enjoying their evening. This was not a B&B visit, just an evening meal. We will be back.

This is a little gem of a place, with excellent food served both at dinner in the restaurant and then again at breakfast, and everything served with a big smile. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and so was the linen - so refreshing!! And all at a very reasonable price... Thank you to all the wonderful staff!

We had a weekend in Norfolk to visit the St. Georges Whisky Distillery and stayed at The George & Dragon, a mile down the road in East Harling. What a place, we were greeted by the landlady who made us very welcome and showed us to our rooms....they were really clean and well furnished and had king sized beds. The...

Stayed in September 2014 when visiting nearby st George's whisky . Very pleased with bed room for price paid, lovely comfy big beds rooms well decorated in modern style. Bathroom had modern shower but felt a little basic , just a jazzy mirror would brighten things up. Can see that perhaps that this is a work in progress as building...
