My boyfriend and I stayed here Saturday 18th March, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The breakfast and dinner were some of the best food we've EVER eaten. We would highly recommend the surf & turf. The shower was nice and powerful and I liked that we had a television in the room. However, as much as we had a really...

The George and Dragon is a well maintained pub; Good atmosphere, welcoming staff, very very good bar menu, generous portions nicely presented . + The beer was well kept. "Dog-friendly" bar in the pub, which makes it useful as I called in as a 'tourist' with a well-behaved pet. Nicely kept and decorated. A classic English pub. Recommended. I hope...

Away again I now prefer a pub/hotel rather than a cheap bed for the night place. I was really impressed when I stayed at the George and dragon. Here for 3 nights I was given one of the ground floor apartments, it made the longer stay more comfortable. Having need to catch up on work emails etc I took my...

While staying at the lodges in Thorpe Forest we decided to go out for Sunday lunch. Had been told it was advisable to book The George and Dragon in advance which we did. When we entered the pub nobody greeted us.. we stood for a few mins not knowing what to do and walked over to the lady serving at...

This review was very easy to write. From the time I arrived to the time I left I was impressed. The decor is gorgeous, the service was impeccable, the staff were amazing, the portion sizes of the food was very generous and the water in a fridge at the end of the hall way for you to "help yourself" was...

My wife and I called in their for a meal after visiting Banham Zoo. The staff were very friendly but the food was poor, in fact I had a bad stomach, I was in a lot of pain. The vegatables were over cooked, I would not go back there and I would not recommend it. The decor of the pub...

Situated only a couple of miles from the circuit. The rooms may be simple but they are clean and comfortable if you are racing at Snetterton. The breakfast timings are geared to your requirements so if you are being scrutineered early, they can accommodate you which is most welcome. Good evening meal available at what is a local pub with...

I stayed for three nights at the George and Dragon in one of tha apartments in an annex. This was very new and needed a few finishing touches. there was no bedside tables or lamps and one of the bedroom curtains were missing, notwithstanding these slight shortcomings, which the management are going to address it was a very enjoyable stay...

Stayed 2 nights, 27 / 28 Th May, Rooms small, light switches were too high and poorly located, you have to get out of bed to operate. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Problem came at check - out, someone had meals & drinks charged to my room and it was only with great reluctance that they accepted that it was...

Only stayed one Saturday night in apartment 4. I thought that it would be just a room in the pub but was a small apartment. There is an oven, toaster, dishwasher and all the tools. The rooms were very clean and the wet room large. It could do with more curtains in the windows, but hay 😃😃. If your looking...
