A well run place. Well maintained which is generally not a thing to be expected in a Government run tourist lodge. Good generator back up ...expect power cuts. Food ....Avoid continental meals please. The bar is pretty packed though.

Very dirty. The staff is warm, but are least bothered about the cleanliness of the hotel. Being located by NH-34, the location is strategic but it is pretty noisy at night, even if you take a room that doesn't face the road. Quit the hope of getting a good view. The rooms were home more to mosquitoes than me. Curtains...

Not maintained properly but property is huge and calm and quiet instead of busy city road in front of the Tourist Lodge. Service is not good and food is average as other Govt place. But the location is good and good for short stay.

Located on NH-34, the tourist lodge has a sprawling campus but majorly wasted. There are only 21 rooms. Room size is good but poorly maintained. I booked two AC deluxe rooms 104 and 105 on Dec 31, 2015. There were rats in room apart from other irritants. Sleep quality is bad due to incessant horns by vehicular traffic on the...

This is rather an exception. Though Govt. run, most of the amenities are really good. Maybe also because of the extremely caring Manager, who stays long to ensure guest comfort. The food in the restaurant is really very good and affordable.

We stayed here just a week ago. The room was an ac room. We arrived at night and the room was clean though the bathroom was not. It was cleaned the next day. I do think though that their rates are high for the room standards. The staff is helpful and nice which is a plus. The guest house provided us...

If WBTDC was little more sincere, this property could have turned to be a nice and comfort stay for the travellers. Everything is available, but you would feel that lots are missing... Housekeeping, Service etc. Room and Toilet is huge, but you could imagine that if the basic amenities in the room is not to that standard, you would get...
