Just really relaxing. You could lie in bed all day. This is duplex accomodation with wooden floors so you need to be quiet. 5 minutes from Ngilgi cave. Trampoline, washing machine and pool was handy. Don't rock up before 2pm.

Quiet and secluded location in forest, very private and peaceful. We booked the 2 bedroom chalet for 3 nights.

Nearest town is about 6-8mins drive away, not too far, but the drive is a tad scary in the dark (which is quite early this time of year). Very roomy, lots of space, well equipped kitchen, though there were no basics (such as oil/salt/pepper), though there was a small pack of milk provided. Coffee powder provided, but no coffee press. Very strong stable wifi , no password needed, which was awesome. You can login to your netflix account on the smart tv.

Washing machine is outside in a separate room, which is not very convenient to get to in the winter cold (and at night). No dryer, so need to wrangle with the clothes line and there's very few clothes pegs provided. Need to clear trash which you need to drive out to, not very convenient.

There's a pool and small playground (with a trampoline)

Overall, we loved the stay, for its privacy and closeness to nature, but be prepared with food/amenities else you'd be stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Bar soap, shampoo, conditioner provided, and there's a bathtub. Toilet is separate from the bathroom, which is good.

Strong heating from the main heater in the living room, which was a nice surprise

We saw kangaroos (regularly at a clearing on the drive out), a bunny once when we first arrived, and had frequent visits from a kookaburra, which was lovely.

Had 3 nights at Yallingup Forest Resort and thoroughly enjoyed it. The chalet was clean with spacious rooms and has everything you need for your stay. The weather was cold but the gas heating made the whole place very cosy. While the location feels isolated it is in fact close to Dunsborough and Yallingup and many wineries and restaurants.
We love the bush surrounds and birds and wildlife that visit throughout the day. Sitting out on the verandah that surrounds the chalet with wine, cheese and a good book in the afternoons is very pleasant.
If I was to find any negative, it would be that the bathroom could do with an upgrade but the water is hot and water pressure is good.
This has been our 4th stay here, so I guess that says it all

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing 4-night stay at Yallingup Forest Resort. Located a short 5min drive from Dunsborough Town, we had no trouble finding our way. The chalets are cosy, clean & well equipped.

Situated amongst the beautiful bushland of W.A's South West, the accommodation is nice and quiet with plenty to see and do including a number walking tracks in the local area and watching the abundant wildlife from the verandah.

The resort is well located and
Our hosts Jess and Trevor were very welcoming and super helpful.
We look forward to returning to Yallingup Forest Resort again in the near future and happily recommend this venue to others looking for accommodation in the Yallingup area.

We stayed with our extended family in a four bedroom chalet and it was absolutely wonderful. Very relaxing being visited by the local birds while we sat and enjoyed a drink or two on the large verandah. Surrounded by forest we enjoyed the atmosphere. We used the barbecue for our dinner and made good use of the cooking facilities provided in our chalet. As the nights got cold we used the gas heating provided which was most welcome. We had all we needed and I heard no complaints from any family member. Would definitely book again. If peace, quiet and maybe a dip in the pool is for you then this is a perfect place to revive one's spirit.

Greeted by friendly staff and a wonderful clean, fresh cottage in the woods, we settled in and saw our first Kangaroo, Blue Wren and fat Kookaburra. Day two a lazy breakfast, walk and short drive to the coast we were suddenly transported into the magic of Yallingup. The coast just 6 mins drive away was breathtaking.
Plenty of eateries, bakeries and yummy farm produce on our doorstep too.
most of all it was those little touches, the lovely artworks in the house, masses of books and dvds to choose from, tennis courts and a swimming pool. The staff were attentive and very kindly posted my jewelry on to me which I left behind. You won't be dissapointed. Thank you for a memorable long weekend. :)

We stayed at Yallingup Forest Resort over the long weekend as a group of 4. Amazing location to enjoy a winter weekend. It is a 40min walk along a well maintained bush track into Yallingup and the outlook from the balcony is amazing. Despite the resort being full, we nearly never saw (or heard) our neighbours, each of the villas are so private.

We are already planning our return trip.

We, a family of 3 adults, stayed in a 2 bed chalet for 4 nights at the beginning of November. We were in Chalet 16A and had company in 16B for only the 1st night but it was not a problem. The chalet was very spacious, well appointed and very clean. The elevated verandah was a beautiful escape area surrounded by natural South West bushland. This Resort is situated in a quiet, relaxing area but conveniently located near Dunsborough townsite and not far from other attractions.

We loved our stay here. We'd booked a 3 bedroom chalet but that wasn't available so we were given 2 x 2 bedroom chalets with a connecting door. Perfect. Two living areas. Two kitchens. We could do our own thing.

And then there's the environment. You are surrounded by bush with other chalets hidden behind trees. Utterly tranquil - if one ignores the magpies singing to wake you up and the sunset laughter of the kookaburras. There's even a small swimming pool in which to cool off after a hot summer day.

We'd stay again.
