Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a half of a cabin as shown on the Booking site with the other side unoccupied when we were there. I think there is a season here when kids are out of school and all the cabins are occupied. The accommodations were really nice and the place was really quiet except for the kookaburras and magpies trying to get our dinner(amusing). Don't eat on the porch! There was a nice washer to use and a line to hang out clothes. The pool and tennis court looked nice but we didn't use them. There is a hands off approach by management and all the payment was collected in advance. They had good internet.

Property's Favourite Review
Quiet and secluded location in forest, very private and peaceful. We booked the 2 bedroom chalet for 3 nights. Nearest town is about 6-8mins drive away, not too far, but the drive is a tad scary in the dark (which is quite early this time of year). Very roomy, lots of space, well equipped kitchen, though there were no basics (such as oil/salt/pepper), though there was a small pack of milk provided. Coffee powder provided, but no coffee press. Very strong stable wifi , no password needed, which was awesome. You can login to your netflix account on the smart tv. Washing machine is outside in a separate room, which is not very convenient to get to in the winter cold (and at night). No dryer, so need to wrangle with the clothes line and there's very few clothes pegs provided. Need to clear trash which you need to drive out to, not very convenient. There's a pool and small playground (with a trampoline) Overall, we loved the stay, for its privacy and closeness to nature, but be prepared with food/amenities else you'd be stuck in the middle of nowhere. Bar soap, shampoo, conditioner provided, and there's a bathtub. Toilet is separate from the bathroom, which is good. Strong heating from the main heater in the living room, which was a nice surprise We saw kangaroos (regularly at a clearing on the drive out), a bunny once when we first arrived, and had frequent visits from a kookaburra, which was lovely.

We loved our stay here. We'd booked a 3 bedroom chalet but that wasn't available so we were given 2 x 2 bedroom chalets with a connecting door. Perfect. Two living areas. Two kitchens. We could do our own thing. And then there's the environment. You are surrounded by bush with other chalets hidden behind trees. Utterly tranquil - if one ignores the magpies singing to wake you up and the sunset laughter of the kookaburras. There's even a small swimming pool in which to cool off after a hot summer day. We'd stay again.

We were booked in for 4 nights but left after just one night. There was a problem with the chalet, and there was nobody around to solve it. We were very sorry to have to abandon this part of our holiday as it was in an area we wanted to explore. However the owners of the chalet refunded us our money and we were happy to have a swift resolution to the problems we encountered/

Fantastic place if you love wildlife and the outdoors. Excellent accommodation and plenty of room, close to the Dunsborough township but hidden in the forest, lovely wineries as well. Family of 10 enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended

Lovely, quiet, secluded space. Wouldn't call it a resort, but definitely a retreat. Quite rustic but everything you need, including great wi-fi! :-) Nice walks around the area, very well situated for the region too.

Lovely location amongst the forest, very quiet and peaceful. 2 bedroom chalet we had was a good size and suited us for our 3 night stay. Window blinds were quite dirty and should look to be cleaned or replaced. As chalets are set amongst the trees a bit hard to get washing dry but overall we were very happy with our stay.

Lovely little stay-cay. Comfy little chalet, a bit dusty, few cobwebs that could be attended to inside the chalet, being a nurse I am finicky regarding cleanliness especially the bathrooms and linen. I must say the service was great, as the bath tub was clogged and we got that sorted right away. Great location within nature. Chalets could do with some renovation and a bit more of a clean but other than that we will be back based on the customer service and location.

We, a family of 3 adults, stayed in a 2 bed chalet for 4 nights at the beginning of November. We were in Chalet 16A and had company in 16B for only the 1st night but it was not a problem. The chalet was very spacious, well appointed and very clean. The elevated verandah was a beautiful escape area surrounded by natural South West bushland. This Resort is situated in a quiet, relaxing area but conveniently located near Dunsborough townsite and not far from other attractions.

Can not rate this resort high enough, peaceful and calm - the beauty of it is amazing - we did have neighbours the second night but they went to sleep by the curfew and it wasn’t to bad - but we had 2 kookaburras come perch on the balcony was fantastic. My partner and I stayed with our toddler 19 months and she loved the little bush walks with the Kangaroos in the morning We will be returning each time we travel down south As the location is so convenient between all the local attractions and the girls are super helpful with finding places to visit
