This place is just amazing. My 4th visit and every time it never fails to disappoint. From the friendly staff to the amazing location there is no better place for me in the world to unwind. Norm and Nan are fantastic hosts and a special thanks to Yalaporn, Wanna and Darryl who made my stay a special memory. Can't wait... More

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Echo Valley was everything we hoped it would be – and more. The views are stunning, the food was sensational and the rooms spotless. We rode, hiked, biked and learned to fly fish too. The (pre-breakfast) early morning yoga class was a lovely start to the day and the spa was divine! Norm and Nan have surrounded themselves with a... More

Just came back from a 5 day stay at the Echo Valley and had a great vacation. Royal treatment from the minute we arrived. Such a relaxing and beautiful place. The food was just excellent from breakfast to dinner and the rooms were spotless. Thanks Nan and Norm!

room 6 in the main lodge. Very relaxing. Weather a little iffy. However we got to tour the area and go for walks. Enjoyed the carvings in the trees. Food was great and hosts very friendly. While we did not partake in a lot that was offered we did have a massage and used the sauna.

I grew up in the Cariboo, but have been living in the lower mainland for many years. EV ranch is located in familiar surroundings with so many outdoor activities to enjoy! We went on long walks, horseback rides and even tried the fly fishing. When we needed to really unwind, we used the spa facilities on site to have a... More

We were a group of 6 ladies and this weekend couldn't have been better! The meals prepared by Todd and his team were absolutely amazing. I know I gained 2 pounds and I'm sure the others would have similar comments. Some went horseback riding, most went to the spa. For me, the Asian Blend massage was the best I have... More

A calm retreat in a beautiful scenery with lots of space for every guest. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served on one big table like at home. The food is excellent and it is a feeling like coming home when you enter the main house. You will calm down a few hours after your arrival and be in another world... More

We had a fantastic time at the EV ranch courtesy of Nan and Norm. A nice change to our intinery to sit down for regular meals and meet some fellow travellers. We shared our time with two other couples who were a pleasure to be with and shared our enthusiasm for EV and British Columbia. The ranch is amazing and... More

What an excellent experience, I cannot stress enough how much so. The staff at EVR are incredible and understand what it is to take care of a guest in every way. They are friendly, incredibly accommodating, considerate and lastly, are there to ensure your stay is great. Between the amazing food (Thai night was unreal), the horseback riding, hike, and... Located in 'cowboy country' above the Fraser River in BC's scenic Cariboo Region, Echo Valley Ranch & Spa entices those seeking a restorative sojourn, as well as those looking for a higher-octane activity. Whether your idea of heaven is a trail ride through rolling hills, a 4x4 wildlife safari, or a day at the spa, at Echo Valley guests find harmony and rejuvenation. The fusion of eastern and western influences is best seen at the spa, where both western massage and Thai treatments soothe muscles and mind; while dining options encompass dishes from east and west, fuelled by produce from the ranch livestock and kitchen garden. Activities also include hiking, bird watching and fly-fishing, as well as trips to white water rafting. Winter options range from snowshoeing to ice fishing and snowmobiling. Echo Valley is an idyllic spot for weddings and elopements, and caters to meetings and retreats for corporate groups. Flying into the ranch's private runway is one way to arrive; the ranch is also accessible with a scenic five hour drive from Vancouver. ... more   less
