This place is on the highway to eratupetta & overlooks a vewpoint , we used only offroading here so the review is based only on that . a willy jeep will take you 3 km down to a small stream where one can bathe for 600 INR for 4 pax & a shorter uphill ride for 400 INR for 4 pax . its really a thrill trip with quite a few wow scary moments . we had excellent services of our driver biju . really worth it especially for the cost . though not for the weak :)

On our way back home from Wagamon, we were forced to stop our drive due to heavy rain and sudden flood and rock falling at this property as there was no other option for us. We were two adults and two kids and booked two rooms and were shocked to see the room condition however no other option due to the heavy rain and road conditions. The glass windows were all broken, so we were covered with curtain cloth. Bathroom ventilation was broken. Insects and flies were roaming in the room. Kids were scared to sleep separately so we all slept in one room and somehow managed to pass one night. No mobile network except JIO and no wifi so we were cut off from the rest of the world. The gentleman at the property managed to get a vegetable extra spicy curry and chicken curry for dinner. It was a scary night due to heavy rains, and no network and room conditions. Somehow we manage to sleep and as soon as we got up by 8 am we checked out and escaped from the place safely to our house. The hotel is not maintained after covid and it's a pity that govt allows such places to function.

Our experiences are personal and they are unique. I have traveled across India and the stay at this property on Oct 14th through to Oct 15th was a terrrible experience. My review is an impartial but a personal one.
There were only three staff, none of them were cooks. No room had intercoms and the rooms are located at the foot steps of the hill, which makes it extremely difficult for a person to call a staff in person for a service that we may require. The staff does not know any other language but their vernacular, which is great, but extremely inconvenient for tourists, who may not know the language. If you ask them to bring tea without milk and sugar, for sure they will do the opposite. I had called the manager Mr. Pradip at regular intervals for about a month ever since I decided to visit the place and he did not tell me any of the potential service failure. I felt cheated paying Rs 2000/- for a night for this pathetic experience. I did not pay in full either.

I had ordered for lunch, mentioned the menu at 10:00 AM in the morning and well beyond 2:30 when I went to the dining hall to eat, the lunch that was served was not even close to what I had ordered.

It will take me years to forget this nasty experience.

I booked and stayed dormitories in here, but i dint seen such poor maintenance and worst dormitories in my life.
few examples I need to share, why I meant that is worst dormitory, blankets are not provided at least single bed, and windows are not there, so you can get direct disturb from mosquitoes.
even towels are not provided same as even single bed, suppose if you asked this to hotel management, they replied very rudely, but they will expect all the money from you without provided good facility, managers are very money minded peoples. beware of your money. some times they come and beg you for money.

Booked this resort through Booking.com. After booking, resort owner called me and ask for confirmation, which I did. Before one day again we called and confirm the booking. While going to the vagamon at 1pm, this guy called and said there is water problem in the resort and he asked us to check some other resort. We were suppose to reach after 2 hours and it was festival season as no resort was free. It was a horrible experience. We know that he got customer paying more money so he made this excuse. Pathetic and highly unprofessional.

Pathetic! Pathetic! Pathetic! Promised rooms, campfire and barbeque while booking but they did not provide any one of it.

We, a gang of 10 people booked this hotel's dormitory one month in advance. We reached there on at around 11 AM.
When we asked for room keys, they told the room which we were supposed to stay was not ready due to service problems. They apologised and asked us to refresh in the common bathrooms near reception. Also asked us to roam around Vagamon and come back before which they will arrange the rooms, also campfire and barbeque at night.
Since it was a long weekend and season time, we tried but could not get any other hotels at the last moment and had no other choice. We returned to the hotel after roaming.
They didnot arrange the room yet. We started fighting with them. Then they put beds on Play Room which had billiards table covering 1/4th of the room. Somehow we had to manage that.
Next Part, when we asked for campfire, they told they are arranging it for other guests, so it is not possible to arrange for us. Seems the other guests are a bunch of 50 College students.

We understood the entire thing that time only. After we had booked, seems the hotelwalas had a much bigger guest, so they decided to accomodate the new guests at the expense of us.

We fought and told them that they should have let us know beforehand itself, so that we could have booked some other hotels. Our entire day got ruined because of these cheap idiotic guys.

My advise. Donot book this hotel and ruin your vacation.
