Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having just returned from a three day camp with our Grade threes and fours, I want to reassure future visitors that this camp is excellently run, cabins are clean and warm, and the activities are absolutely amazing. Staff are great and very supportive. They respond to feedback immediately, so if any issue arises, it wil be fixed. The PGL groupie that is assigned to your school was a great contact point.
Our students, many of whom had never had a sleepover before, managed beautifully, and now have wonderful memories. I highly recommend PGL Campaspe Downs to any school.

My daughter recently visited PGL Campaspe Downs adventure camp with her Primary School, and now all I hear about is mum when can I go back. She told me about the friendly staff, amazing food and activities that she just couldn’t get enough of. Even though the weather wasn’t the best. The staff always make sure the kids were having fun.
The hydrating stations are an excellent idea, my daughter asked one of the staff about it and she was told that some of the guests aren’t used to tank water, so PGL has organised two big tanks One on each side of the camp with water that gets brought in.

Does not even deserve one star. The walls are so weak that we woke up to the cabin next to us yelling. The teacher next door could hear everything that we said even tho we were whispering. The food was cold on the first night, and the chicken was unseasoned on the third night. Water is trash and it is pumped from the river, so many people got sick from it and I only had 3 bottles of water to live off for the 3 days and the juice they gave us. Activities were very boring most the time. Would not recommend at all. The cabins smell as well, and they are too small for 12 people in one. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

the campsite is FULL of bugs (wasps, bees and mini flies), I went with my year level and we barely did anything (not the camp's fault), it was also FREEZING COLD like I was in the magpie cabin and there were no heaters at all which was disappointing. the magpie cabin is really big which is really nice but I thought that the people before us were supposed to clean the cabin? there was a dead cricket in the shower. the staff are really nice and act like they actually like their jobs, unlike the other camps I've been to, which is a positive. there were 4 bunk beds in my cabin meaning 8 beds in total, the cabin was pretty spacious and I think they were soundproof because I and my friends were being pretty loud and the teachers next to us said that we didn't make a sound.

We stayed at PGL Campaspe Downs as part of a large group of friends for a weekend. I’ve got to say that I was blown away by the service we received. The staff here bent over backwards for us and clearly love what they do.

The facilities were great - perfect for our large group - and the kids really enjoyed the adventure activities. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a fabulous weekend!
