Old simple clean hotel. Room is basic with bathroom. Ideal place to stay for the Sanctaury of Our Lady of Banneux. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is good enough, but I miss the bacon and scrumbled egg. A little high price for budget hotel , but ok stay.

No issues with this hotel. Was just a stop off for us for one night. It's right next to some restaurants, the room was clean and it had everything that we needed. Breakfast was good and included in the price. They only take cash payment for the room though.

I visited the Hotel on a Grand Prix weekend, and I found it very satisfactory. I is by no means a luxury Hotel, but was reasonable, after a thorough downgrade in expectations. Staff was friendly, although did not speak any English, and though the Hotel is far from the best I’ve visited I can foresee me returning,

This little hotel is located at the gate of the Banneaux shrine. You can't get closer, unless you sleep in the guesthouse for the sick inside the shrine. Apparently it was owned & run by the Baneaux visionary, Mariette Beco. It's basic, clean, comfortable & warm, with friendly service. My room had a view of parts of the shrine, through trees.

It's a couple of minutes walk from the bus stop from Liege. To get to Banneux from Liege Guillemins station, the bus stop (bus 64) is to the left of the main exit. It's about 3.80 Euros each way; pay the driver. Timetables & maps are on the Belgian rail website.

we arrived at about 1700 , no reception area, we asked the lady serving tables where the check-in was , she told us the boss would come to us ,, he passed 5 or 6 times without saying a word. eventually he decided to tell us that he would come to us.. He was anything but friendly. The outside of the hotel was very dirty and needs painting , the dining area is very dark and unwelcoming. the rooms were clean and functional , but basic. No television , no bedside light, no real door to the bathroom, plastic screen. the breakfast was good , fresh rolls were tasty. Saturday evening we ate elsewhere in the village , we really had no desire to eat in the hotel ,, we returned just before 2200 , we asked if we could have a beer ? no it is 2158 and the bar closes at 2200 so no !.. this on a saturday evening in the middle of the summer ! The unhelpful guy was on his laptop at 2300 when we came back , sitting in the bar.. Had he told us at 2158.. yes you can have one beer but then we close , then would would have understood... FOrtunately for this poor hotel there are lots of visitors to the SHrine next door , and it would seem to permit sub standard service , badly maintened building

It was a last minute booking after the place we were originally scheduled to stay at turned out to be falsely advertised. This place hit all the spots: clean, quiet, conveniently located from SPA FRANCORCHAMPS (about 25 min drive), close to an amazing restaurant - Rallye Team, with breakfast that includes fresh bread, rolls, croissants and made to order coffee. How can you not love that?
The owners/managers were super nice, with our almost non existing French and their English we managed to communicate perfectly:)
I'll tell you this, next time we are at SPA we are definitely staying at Becco!

We only stopped here one one night whilst on a European road trip, the hotel was clean, well presented and the rooms were good, nothing too fancy but just what we needed. The local area has some stunning religious architecture and buildings (it was a total fluke we stumbled upon it all) there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby although we found that most were closed in the evening, the one with the carlsberg signs lit up outside was open and we had a few drinks in there, all in all a stunning place to visit and one I highly recommend
