We booked this last min on booking.com and was not as expected with all the negative reviews,we stayed in a family room for one night and was clean and functional, and close to beaches, arcades, cafes etc.We ate here and food was satisfactory for the price we paid, would stay here again.

The Anchor hotel in ingoldmells is a nice looking pub and hotel. Inside the rooms are nice and the hotel rooms are of good standard. The customer service of the bar staff however are very poor. We went into the bar and order drinks for our family. However we went back to ask for some black current adding to our...

Previous experiences were fine, this one was a farce from start to finish, a room the cleaners had 'forgot' to clean, flooding, toilets with plumbing faults, no heating and to top it all the...

My husband and I stayed a couple of nights. Ladies on reception very helpful. Room also very clean but basic. No drawers and a very small space to hang clothes. Ok for 2 nights but that's about it. Another drawback was children running up and down the corridor.

2nd time I've stayed here, I came back because it suits a quick visit perfectly. It's cheap, clean and serves its purpose as a place to lay my head! It's basic accommodation so don't expect a luxurious, state of the art room but as far as my needs were concerned, nice staff, clean bed, shower and hairdryer! Perfect if you...

We're now shattered after no sleep in this hotel we expected noise from the bar however we can't hear the bar noise, we can hear the hot water tank constantly running, people slamming doors, running up & down corridors all night into the early hours! The reception staff have made a mix up on...
