We stay nearby Resort, but we found ourselves almost every day in beach restaurant in Flora I Talay. Good portions and very tasty dishes. Beer also cold as waited. After lunch jump to the sea and water run to your own resort 300 meters to left. Beach and water outside this restaurant is excellent.

We spend two very nice days at this resort. We had one of the bungalows fronting the beach. It was really nice. The beach is very good just at the resort and it is shallow for a long time, so very kids-friendly (beware of sand flies). The restaurant/bar on the resort nice and reasonable priced. The WI-FI available in the rooms was more or less not existing which was quite disappointing. It was fine at the reception area though. There is a few restaurants, shopping possibilities, a 7-11 and some ATM’s on the main road.

We come since many years to koh chang, but this time we choose Flora because of our 2 little dogs. There are not many petfriendly resorts at the island and Flora isn't only that. All of us were happy in that 5 days we are staying. Only a step from the beach, a beautiful garden, many other guest with dogs, unbelievable caretaking staff of Flora, and so much more. If you travel with animals, this is the first choice. Highly recommended 👑👑👑

We arrived as a party of 5 adults and 1 child across 3 beachfront units. The rooms and fittings all worked, AC was good though no water heating and getting chilly in the shower! Also way too many ants - take a can of bug killer and hit the room heavy and leave for a few hours after check in! Rooms are on a reasonable rate, though considering the terrible breakfast the rates suddenly become not so attractive at all. The 4 other Thai adults and Thai child also were not at all impressed by the breakfast. Note;we arrived early morning and did not want to take room at extra day cost for the 3hrs and were quoted 250B per head for breakfast - use this as negotiation for no breakfast on checking in price! At the seafood restaurant all seafood is frozen, we had the last 2 tiger prawns along with some other reasonable large prawns and tasted good - though nothing on seafood fresh - used to be totally awesome though excusable as the hotel is suffering lack of guests when we were there - perhaps less than 25% occupancy by key-board on arrival and departure .... though we did have the beach to ourselves and if really fresh seafood wanted, there are plenty seafood restaurants within 10 minutes drive! None are cheap and Flora Italay is competitively priced with added great location and clean toilets throuighout the facility. Non-Asian breakfast is boiled "Thai frankfurters", sliced pork ham, bread and eggs though no omelets as no things to be added. No yogurts, though choice of 3 fresh fruits and some questionable "fresh" fruit juices. The instant coffee is one of the cheapest, with short spoon that if jar less than half-full imagine the risk of contamination - COVID or other! Take your mown or 3-in-1 to avoid that dirty jar! The hotel is a great seafront location, rooms staff are wesome, food is usually very good - just that breakfast, what a total letdown at the start of your day on holiday! If visiting, which I would do again (this was our 3rd visit) take a deal with no breakfast and either travel out or get your own breakfast or self-perform cereal and yoghurt, coffee, smoked salmon, cheese, croissant etc. as both Tesco and Makro are just along the road. with us being a 6 person billable group, THB1500 could have got a decent self-perform picnic / brunch! Also, not hotel fault though those sand flies left us suffering for quite a few days - still scratching 3 days later! I did not notice during 3 nights stay - take some barrier creams! I do recommend the Flora Italay and would go again, though be warned of the breakfast!

We stayed in a bungalow near the pool and the beach. We got chairs from the hotel staff and could place where we preferred. The beach was the best at this place, we walked along the beach but came always back to our beach. Friendly staff and a lot of space to sit for good, drinks or whatever.

Stayed here for 3 days , very disappointed with the bungalow The beach views are wonderful, we had the massage parlour in front of our bungalow but didn’t spoil the views to much The bungalow need a lick of paint and updating , no tea coffee no room safe, air con only just working, TV only broadcasts in Thai and very grainy picture. The breakfast is pretty bland and buffet style, The restaurant is like a cafe in UK just enough no more. The pool and sun beds are fine ok , 8 beds round the pool but nobody but us used them. Pretty disappointed with the whole hotel except the beach which was wonderful

We stayed here in a beach front bungalow for nearly a week and don’t regret a moment of it. The restaurant is excellent, the beach is beautiful and it was very laid back and relaxing. If you’re happy with snoozing, cocktails and an evening fire show then this is the place for you. Hire some kayaks from the resort next door and paddle up the river if you get bored 😉

We liked everything about this place; the beachfront bungalow with its en-suite bathroom, very spacious, clean and well equipped (with great WiFi) , just a few steps to the sea; the restaurant on the beach serving delicious food and excellent breakfast in the morning; the facility with a pleasant swimming pool just in case one gets tired of the beach :-). Thai massage is available on site offering a perfect way to enhance an already great day. The staff is very nice, in particular at the restaurant; maybe a little bit less so at the main counter but this was a small negative in an otherwise perfect stay. We had a fabulous time and found the resort to deliver excellent service / excellent value. There is no doubt that we will consider this resort again when we are back in Koh Chang. What a treat!

Good location near to all your daily needs. Although the hotel have it's own famous restaurant "Flora I Talay" very tasty not too expensive too, you should check it out.
