We booked a 3 night break here and stayed in Daisy Cottage. The location is quiet, secluded and just perfect for a mini getaway if you want to escape the frantic hustle and bustle.
Our cottage was so clean, cosy and comfortable and supplied with everything we needed. Very comfortable bed with electric blanket if needed. Eggs, butter, milk and cereals plus fruit juice and other breakfast ‘goodies’ are supplied.
We had a lovely wood stove which kept us warm throughout our stay. Fresh bread was delivered to our cottage on the second morning.
Our hosts (Anthony and Glynis) were delightful. welcoming, friendly and helpful.
We had coffee at the reception shop on two mornings and the most amazing hot chocolate on the last day.
There is also a chocolate shop where you can purchase amazing ‘indulgent’ delights.
The nearby wineries are definitely worth visiting too.

Overall we would completely recommend this place for rest and relaxation.

What a nice place to stay! We loved to stay in Daisy Cottage! It seemed that we were in a fairy tale! It’s so Confortable and we could relax and enjoy the big group of kangaroos that usually appears in early morning! Besides the breakfast in Wisteria is wonderful! When we arrived there was already a basket with many delicious things, and in the morning we received a homemade bread still hot! It looks like a dream!

Room Tip: There is no Wi-Fi nor tv in the cabin. But that’s one more reason to disconnect and enjoy the place.

Could not recommend this cottage highly enough. Perfect place to explore Girraween National Park. The cabin was cosy and clean with everything you need for a short stay. Self-catering is easy with well-equipped kitchenette. The fresh bread was a treat, along with all the other goodies to make a very substantial breakfast. Great hosts, wonderful setting.

Adorable cottage with beautiful wood furnishings and a generous breakfast hamper. We loved the log fire and a generous deck to watch the cows and wallabies wander around the property. The freshly baked bread dropped off in the morning was a delight and the hot chocolate at the shop was amazing. The hosts at the chocolate shop were so lovely to chat to as well. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The kitchen was brilliant, stocked with everything you could need. The fresh milk and eggs were a pleasant surprise, as was the freshly baked bread brought over in the morning. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great.

Such care and attention has gone into the place which it made it so welcoming and homely. It was very peaceful and the fireplace kept the cottage very warm. You could sit on the deck and watch kangaroos hopping around the fields and my husband also feed the cows. Best of all, no tv! You could really switch off and relax.

Such a perfect escape from the world, and a visit to the onsite chocolate shop is a must! The nearby Girraween National Park is also a great spot to visit, as are the numerous wineries nearby. We are already planning our next stay.

We stayed for 3 blissful nights of quiet in Lavender Cottage. Wonderful hospitality from our hosts - the fire was set ready to go; fresh baked bread was placed at the door before breakfast on our first morning. We loved their recommendation to visit Balancing Heart Vineyards for lunch! The bed was utterly comfortable, the views were gorgeous and we had everything we could want, including views from every window.

My son and I had an amazing couple of nights in Lavender Cottage. The cottage was fully stocked with everything we needed. The breakfast hamper was perfect. Waking up to a loaf of home cooked, warm bread delivered to our verandah was the icing on the cake. Thank you! Anthony even brought my son some hay to feed the cows & took him to help feed the chickens too. We also sampled the delights from the chocolate shop. Iced chocolate, iced coffee and even though it was 30 degrees the day we left, my son was not leaving without sampling one of the 21 flavours of hot chocolate. He declared it “AMAZING”. 😊. We will definitely be back ❤️

We needed to abandon our 9 month trip to Europe so were looking for options and a week in this self-contained, self-catered cottage just adjacent to Girraween National Park was ideal. We stayed seven nights in Lavender Cottage and it was excellent. We brought enough food for the week and Glenys provided us with fresh bread, eggs, jam and other breakfast supplies. We spent the days out in the Park on foot or the MTBs and had a great time with essentially zero human interaction. Certainly way less interaction than we would have had at home.

We started our trip on a downer. Our accommodation at Namar Yurts was double booked. Thankfully we found wisteria cottages. They were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast basket and warm bread in the morning was a pleasant surprise. The cottages are clean warm and inviting. No TV but the fireplace was better. It was nice to sit on the veranda watching the kangaroos and dairy cows in the paddock. Checkout the chocolate shop. Very busy on the weekends.
