Stayed here for 2 night in a family room. The Hotel itself felt more like a motel, with the rooms at ground floor, where you park your car outside the door. Keys old fashion with punctured holes. Did not give me the hotel feel (like the price per night did!) Location near a construction site, so woke me up early in the morning . Breakfast was great; all fresh and healthy food. Could also pack lunch bag for a decent price

Not expecting much as having read up on the reviews but it came as a surprise to me. Check in is smooth and room is basic. But the breakfast is awesome. The spread is good and there was even a waffle machine. Great breakfast and i would recommend to stay here (for short stay eg. 1-2 nights).

My husband and myself stayed here for one night on our way down to Reine. I picked it because of its good reviews and it’s good price. I wasn’t expecting the breakfast that followed. The hotel itself has views of the cod drying and water. The inside of the hotel does look dated but it is very clean. The rooms are everything you need and nothing more. The bathroom has a heated floor! We found the room to be very clean and the staff to be friendly. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants. Breakfast. Man on man was it delicious. You have an espresso/latte/coffee machine, different juices, multiple breads/biscuits, fruit, yogurt, multiple meats, actually good scrambled eggs, waffles, a gluten free and vegan section. The best breakfast I’ve had from a hotel. 10/10 I would eat and stay there agin

The hotels in Svolvaer are few and very expensive, so we chose this one as a default. Situated close to the city centre, to the passenger/yacht port, the war museum and the bus stops. The building is very old, and our "standard" room was very small, though fully renovated some months before. Staircase is very steep and there is no lift to the 3rd floor. A smell of fish oil in the corridor. No desk or chairs, one armchair only, a small low table and a leather-covered stool/box to sit on. No hair dryer in the bathroom. The dry-keep window was locked, the technician came with a handle, tilted/opened the window a little and took the handle with him. Very good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Floor heating in the bathroom. The city map could be taken at the nearby information office in the marketplace. Our room faced to the back side and generally was rather silent, besides when a ferry ship came for an hour or two. Very bad sleep – the booked queen-size bed turned to be two narrow and uncomfortable joined beds.
