The service was excellent from the owner of the hotel to the reservation clerks and cleaning staff. The clerk at reservations was very helpful in suggesting some places to visit. The breakfast was excellent. All in all, a very nice stay. I look forward to returning soon.

First visit to that part of Holland, hotel recommended by local business associates. Fronts right on the old square, and it seems odd to drive through the square, past all the cafes to check-in, but they assured me it was quite normal. Apparently, the oldest hotel in Holland, in business over 600 years. Nice combination of old styling and architecture,...

Nice hotel in the city centre. Rooms are fine, airco available. Wifi signal pretty good as well. Breakfast is ok. € 15 for parking is just too much. And somehow I did not notice at the booking that they would charge this amount.

Centrally located hotel and very fast check in. This is an old hotel which has been refurbished resulting in some hotels being a little bit more difficult to find. My room was a lift ride, a walk along a coridor, round a corner and then down some stairs. The room was recently refurbished and the shower room was excellent. Reception...

Stayed there for two consecutive nights. The rooms were not as nice as expected from this hotel, advertising as the oldest hotel in the Netherlands. The beds were old and the interior rather plain. Also the breakfast was not included, and a price of 15€ was charged for the buffet. Hotel staff was nice and helpful however, and the location...

Excellent location in the centre of town. Breakfast is a tad extensive and the air not able to get the room as cool as I would have liked. The hotel is well appointed throughout, the staff are friendly and very keen to help. Overall enjoyed my stay and would return.

I have stayed several times in this hotel when I am in the Netherlands and I must say the hotel has the right combination between an ancient building with a completely renovated interior. It is conveniently located in the city centre and has a parking if you come by car. It is definetively my preferred option in the area.

We won an overnight stay in a hotel with dinner and chose this hotel based on its internet description. The hotel is situated on the central market square of Bergen op Zoom and so has prime position. First problem, the entrance to the hotel's garage was down a very narrow alleyway and it was impossible to see beyond the gate...

The Grand Hotel De Draak is located in the heart of Bergen op Zoom and faces on to the Grote Markt square and is ideally located for local restaurants and bars. Built circa 1397 is reputed to be the oldest hotel in Europe, it has, as you would therefore expect, a lot of charm and Character. The hotel room facilities...

Ask for room 602. It is perfect for a Young family. At the back and fully renovated. Super. It's up some stairs from the lift and has good views through roof windows. Whole hotel looks to have been renovated.
