Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Room clean and quiet. The advantage of being on this side of the town is that you have to walk across the beautiful Roman bridge to get to the town centre. We only had one night so only saw the town in darkness and found limited places to eat. I'm sure in summer it... More

Best night's sleep so far on our road trip in this well situated hotel for access by car. It is however a good 20mins walk to the Plaza de España on foot via the roman bridge, by taking Avenue de Portugal. It is a much longer, lonelier walk if you mistakenly go via the main bridge (N-630), which we unfortunately... More

Well maintained hotel in the TRYP chain.... terrific breakfast and wonderful loaction for visiting Worlf Heritage sites. Natalie and Tone were terrific in assisting us with travel details. The buffet breakfast was scrumptous. I would revist this hotel in a heartbeat.

We arrived after a long journey and having previously been able to check in online, we were soon on our way to our room. We were upgraded to a superior room which was great as it was very spacious. However, the third bed for our adult son, (we had booked as three adults) was an extremely short bed. Not ideal... More

The hotel is a classic business hotel, built probably in the 1950s, but nicely updated. Excellent breakfast. Very large room. Comfortable furnished and appointed. We had summertime rates so it was a bargain at around 80 Euros, including an excellent breakfast. We did not use the fee parking, but found plentiful parking at the shopping center nearby. We would stay... More

This is very modern hotel. Fairly recently built I would think and trying to get in the tour group trade. As such it has all the mod cons. Clean spacious comfortable rooms with excellent reception service. However for the independent traveller it is about a 20 minute walk or 4 euro cab ride to the central bits of Merida. Also... More

We stayed here for one evening on our way through to Madrid from Portugal. The Hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bad: If you want walk to downtown, the hotel is 4 blocks away from the Roman bridge which is a bit challenging with the high (100'sF/40sC) temperatures. They have only 6 free parking spots and charge 10Euros/day for the garage. The good: great front desk people, well kept rooms (we got the standard) great atmosphere in the 'tapas' bar... More
