Cáceres is well worth a visit and this hotel is in a great location, just within the old historic centre and an easy walk to all the main sites and places of interest. You can park very cheaply at Parking Galarza for around 13 euros a day (24 hours) and it is very secure and around a 10 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel itself is in a lovely old building, staff are very friendly and they take strict COVID19 measures such as all wear masks, there is alco-gel everywhere and they have removed all paper literature from the rooms. The room was really big, comfortable with aircon, a balcony looking out to the countryside and a large en-suite with jacuzzi. Lovely place.

We only wish we had been able to stay here longer, the room was amazing with four double opening windows with views over the town and mountains one of which went onto a large balcony with relaxing chairs and sofa. The room was spotless, comfortable and huge with beautiful furniture. Very large bathroom. A very welcome reception and pet friendly. This would be ideal for a long weekend or long stay at such an excellent price, also ideal for a romantic stay. We didn't use the dinning room but the town is 2 minutes away with many bars and restaurants. Old historic town with plenty to see. This is up a very narrow street so you need to know where it is preferably with a GPS.

Never seen so friendly and professional staff, starting from Juan at the reception, waiters, bartenders, even cleaners. We felt like at home. Restaurant food delicious and reasonably priced. 3 stars rating is not enough.

Nice centrally located hotel with decent sized room. However, it is being done up and the restaurant is closed so not even any breakfast available. All there is a vending machine and a coffee machine. Parking is half a mile away.
