I stayed seven nights with a group I was accompanying. The guests seemed happy with their room. Mine smelled horrible everytime I entered the room, then I got used to the smell. Horrible pillows that badly need to be replaced with new ones, mould in the tiny shower. The WiFi signal did not reach my 5th floor room next to...

Had a stop and go here just for one night. Great location, awesome view of Taormina Bay, and very good deal in low season. Unfortunately the building and furnitures need some renovation and it is well visibile.

The first room that I was given was awful and faced a brick wall but on complaining I got a very nice room, half way down the hill with a magnificent sea view. Reception were friendly and helpful in activating this move. The one night spent in the main building was very noisy due to a band playing on the...

This is by far the most average hotel I've stayed at on my Italian holiday. Even the hotel at the less visited town agrigento was better. No air conditioning, at all. If you open the balcony door to get fresh air you get destroyed by mosquitoes. What a jip. Get your service right guys. Springy bed...This ain't a hostel. This...

I was in a party of seven people, hotel was ok/ room average/ most of the staff were a bit offish. We enjoyed most of it but something was up with the staff, Antony the barman was the exception always kind and cheerful with a good knowledge of his job. Mr Manager: you need to employ more people like Antony...

Clean, well located on the hill with nice views, but noisy - you can hear your room neighbours and the too loud music of each night played on the terrasse - some days till midnight. The beach pretty dirty, not very atractive with its vulcanic greyish sand. Good local public transport, ponctual and linking the main other small cities in...

The view from the top is stupendous, but to bet there from the lower car park you have to take the lift and then the cable car. Carrying your luggage with you requires quite an effort. There is an uppper car park, but none of the transfer companies seem to use it. 😒 We were here on a half board...

This hotel is in a lovely position overlooking the sea and the mainland of Italy. The outside areas are pleasant. The hotel decor is a bit tired and my room was large, comfortable but a bit shabby. There is traffic noise from a busy main road. The food is substantial, but the breakfast lacked a choice of fresh fruit and...

We stayed at the Olympo which is the upper part of the Antares reached by a funicular. We had a sea view room with a large balcony and must admit it was one of the more interesting and pretty views that we have had. The room was large but tired. The bed was oak- well that was what the mattress...

This hotel is perched up a hillside and in fact comprises two hotels, the Antares and the Olimpo, they are connected by lifts etc. The Olimpo is the one at the top, Both have swimming pools. The hotels because of where they are situated are the other side of a railway line and the main road to the sea, its...
