Our room on north side of hotel overlooks a busy traffic circle and a 24/7 car wash. No A/C means either hot room or noisy night of sleep. The south facing rooms might be ok. Breakfast was average ibis continental buffet with machine coffee.

Friendly and efficient staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is not spectacular but includes the usual French pastries and the possibility of boiling an egg or two and is, therefore, quite adequate. The coffee is excellent. Fruit is available to take for the onward journey ( plus more coffee)

We have always enjoyed the Ibis at Falaise. This time it had been completely refurbished, everything was perfect. The meals were excellent and the service from the staff was the usual high standard.we thoroughly recommend this hotel. We are big fans of the constant improvements Accor hotels make to the offering at Ibis

Hotel was easy to find on a "newish" industrial area out of town, as they normally are in France. Location good, just off the main road. Newish hotel, with a fitness center and restaurant, and a computer center Rooms slightly on the small size for a new build and for Ibis. However very clean and tidy. Strange art work on...

This s a typical Ibis hotel. The room is small but all the fittings work and is reasonably clean. The dining menu is small but cooked well and the service is good. Helpful staff. OK for one night but for several days the rooms are too small. You get what you pay for and as a budget hotel its ok....

If you want to see who it was who conquered England in 1066, go to Falaise, the site of William the Conqueror's castle. Despite being under the Nazi heel in the 1940's, this little town retains some charms and this Ibis is functional and ideally situated. Restaurant open till latish for the French countryside, and clean serviceable rooms. A great...

We use lots of budget hotels in France (to be honest we prefer the anonymity of a chain over a chambre d'hote; we're tired and don't want to chat). But we cheer up after a nice cup of tea and that's what is missing in this and other budgets. In-room tea/coffee making facilities, available in most u.k. hotels, would be...

This is a great hotel in that the staff are friendly and speak great English. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. They have a sizeable sitting room, TV, games room which again is mostly calm and people respect eachothers' time and space. The kitchen is excellent for the price. I find the service and the staff really agreeable....

This is a typical Ibis Hotel which has adequate rooms (undergoing constant renovation), helpful staff and very good rates. Our Silver Le Club Accor membership provided two welcome drinks. Parking is free and hotel is wonderfully quiet at night. Choose an even numbered room for silence. The bathroom has a small bath, is basic but sufficient. The restaurant is a...

Booked on line and on arrival found the reception/bar/lounge/dining area being refurbished. Absolute chaos, workman tools and building materials scattered around the 'reception' area and outside the main entrance. No lounge area as there was no furniture available and it was taped off; no bar seating, walls partially painted, dusty. Staff made no apology and we were not warned when...
