Pretty much faultless stay. Family run hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food both breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Staff were both professional and friendly. Wellness facilities appreciated by all members of the group. Bus stop 20 yards from hotel. If you want a hotel in Maria Alm for skiing and I dare say in summer too look no...

We were a ski group of 15 and stayed for a week, the hotel is on the ski bus route to the various areas locally. The rooms are a good size, clean and tidy, have a rook sack and umbrella in but no mini fridge....! The staff are fabulous and we found very attentive at all times. Food is great...

Hotel Thalerhof, Maria Alm 30/01/2016 to 6/02/2016 Positives This was (at least)our 5th visit to the Thalerhof which is a reasonably small, family run, hotel of approx 40 rooms. The hotel is clean and attractive and bedrooms comfortable. The majority of staff are friendly. One of the hotel's greatest assets is Goran who is extremely efficient in the bar and...

Visited the Dengle Alm restaurant and bar with a group of friends and teenagers of varying ages. The steak was one of the best I have ever tasted and I have had a fair few steaks around the world. Great service, helpful friendly staff and a fun atmosphere.

This was the third visit to the Dengl Alm restaurant and it has been consistently good. The steak served on a hot granit stone is the best I have tasted anywhere. well seasoned and cooked by you to your liking at the table. Highly recomended, pick a day to suit as the entertainment at 9 varies from live music to...

We did not actually stay at the Thalerhof, but we ate there for breakfast and dinner. We ate at their buffet breakfast where there were made-to-order eggs and omelets, wurst and cheese, fresh breads, cakes, granola, house made jams - everything you could want. We also ordered al a carte from their menu for dinner and really enjoyed the schnitzel,...

The Dengl Alm is the Bar/Restaurant attached to The Tallerhof Hotel. The owners of the hotel also own their own Bio Farm and produce some of the finest Cattle in The Alps. This in turn provides what I consider to be the finest Beef Fillet that I have tasted. Served on a 400 degree hot granite stone on which you...

We decided to come back with our retired parents during the first week of June to the Thalerhof without snow and was not disappointed. The hotel is clean, the food good and the staff are very friendly (thank you Goran and Ursula). Unlike our ski visit we found the spa area almost empty and very relaxing. In comparison to our...

Goran even remembered us from two years ago and which table we sat at! Comfortable bedroom (203), although hotter than we are used to at home so slept with the window open. Nice touch with...
