The resort is really very nice, lots of green plants and a fair size to walk to around that has a nice vibe. There is two pools that weren't very busy. The breakfast was included in the price which was great value per night. The room was great design and very nice. The cleaner was very good and always cleaned our room each day without us having to ask for it. The planes flying over head were not a problem as they were pretty high and we only noticed them when at the pool. The only negative was that the price of drinks both pop and beer were expensive.
the place its not that far from the city, very easy to locate, once youve get here you are always welcome, the staff prepare welcome drinks they are very accomdating and their conference its fully equip with sound system writing pens and paper are ready, very neat room accomdation
A good place for summer vacation.. Friendly and Approachable staffs. The foods are delicious yet affordable. The rooms are nice. There are also swimming pools and spa pool good for relaxation and enjoyment.
I’ll start by saying, I’m typing this in Notes because the wifi doesn’t reach my room. Cons (explained below): 1. Bath tub clogged 2. Electricity outage 3. No WiFi in room 4. Meal was overcharged 5. Given wrong change 6. No natural light in room 7. Can hear planes about once an hour. 8. Can hear smokers in the hallway smoking areas 9. The airport transportation is a taxi you pay for. Pros 1. Staff were always quick to check on/try to fix problems. 2. Check in and check out were hassle free. 3. Don’t smell the smoke from hallway smoking areas. Cons explained: 1. The tub was clogged and it took an hour before I could use the tub. They called maintenance men to fix it and they wore their shoes into the bathroom and fixed the tub with their shoes on. How dirty! 2. The electricity went out after 5 minutes of using hot water, they reset the breaker, 5 minutes later, it’s out again. This goes on 4 times in order to fill the bath tub 4”. The ac isn’t on, the tv isn’t on. I only had the water kettle on because the water wasn’t very hot for a bath. The bath tub was the only reason I chose to stay here. I paid twice as much to stay here (my beach resort was 1/4-1/2 the price of this place). I expected a proper bath at the end of my trip. 3. They say there’s WiFi. But because it’s a concrete structure, with few windows, the signal doesn’t actually reach the room. 4. I wasn’t feeling well so I asked for some garlic in hot water. I wouldn’t mind maybe paying 50pesos. They charged 120. I disputed the cost and got it to 70pesos. 5. I was quoted a price for the total bill including 10% on food and 12% on drinks (tea). But when I got my change, they had changed the total price. I was so tired of all the problems and I wasn’t feeling well, so I gave in. 6. This isn’t a huge deal, but for me, when I visit a tropical island, I’d like the maximum amount of sunlight. But here there’s no shear curtain to allow privacy and daylight. There are two blackout curtains though. Good place if you want darkness. 7. The planes flying over intermittently was not a huge deal, but for a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. 8. The chatter in the hallway wasn’t loud, but the door doesn’t block much sound. I could sleep, but maybe others need ear plugs. 9. To travel anywhere (including the airport), you have to add 100pesos because this resort is so far away from everything. Long story short, I wish I was back in my cheap resort near the beach of Alona. …
The place is very isolated, so if you like to getaway from the crowd without doing any activities, then maybe this is for you. During our stay, they stated that they offer water sports, have a ‘movie library’ & a spa that is open from 9am (iirc) until 10pm. But when we informed the staff that we wanted to do jetski in the morning, they said it wasn’t available. Their so called ‘movie library’ consisted of only 5 DVDs of old movies & apparently the spa is NOT available either & that the therapist was only ON CALL. If they were ‘on call’, why weren’t they called when we asked for it? Mind you, we asked to book a night before but was still told the spa is unavailable. The TV also had a bad reception, so my fiancé & I weren’t able to do anything other than stay in the room by ourselves. Walking around the resort and out & about at night were quite scary as there weren’t much light & was pretty dark. Basically the only thing we liked were the breakfast option & the comfortable bed. To make matters worse, when we checked out, they weren’t able to call us a cab because, once again, it is not available. They offered us a bicycle to get us from the resort to another, it was quite a hassle as it was raining and we had luggages. I suggest that the staff should be more informative next time so we wouldn’t get our hopes up high.…
