As a first attempt with a caravan, this site could not be faulted. Relatively easy access to the site, easy access to water and electricity with a shop and post office on site, making this a very good experience for a beginner. Lots of lovely countryside close too including many miles of the New Forest with all the ponies, donkeys,... More

This was our first visit to this site, full service facilities were excellent, the pitch was quite rectangular, rather than the normal pitches found on Caravan Club sites. We therefore parked the car in front of the caravan. Shop and café were good. When we stayed in mid September the whole site was very quiet. The one and only negative... More

Facilities were good and the campsite Cafe was excellent, unfortunately we chose to be there at the some time as a rather large group of families, with extremely noisy children (as children will be in a large group). When it wasn't the children screaming, it was the parents screaming at the children. Not something I would wish to experience again.... More

Camping an caravan site very clean. Fields well kept. Children's play area. Cafe, Wendy does most of the cooking. Very nice breakfast no matter who cooks. Can also recommend the Sunday roast. Shop is very well stocked. Now has a post office and the lottery. All staff very friendly.

Smashing, quiet campsite. Lovely little park for the kids. Separate recreation field for ball games, shaded camping area, clean well sized showers. Shop and reception well stocked and helpful, the owner walked round every evening and had a chat. Cooked breakfast delicious and reasonably priced. Would definitely come again.

Our second visit in 3 weeks! Our first was for a few days, being new to camping, we didn't know what to expect, but we were more than happy with the site. On our second visit we asked to go in 'the willows' a very pretty setting. The cafe is a gem and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities... More

We have just got back (last night )from this great campsite, only leaving a day early due to possible rain. We found it by chance on Google, and I'm so glad we did. We spent 10 nights ( myself husband, son 15, and daughter 4) and the whole experience was lovely, warm and friendly. The facilities are good, toilets and... More
