We spent several days at the Devon Lions Campground this August. Unfortunately it rained several times during our visit, making our site a muddy mess. There was no grass and very little gravel on our badly sloped site. We wanted to get together with our family but there was no rain shelters available without high daily rent. The location is...

The lions park is situated on the north Saskatchewan river, you need to go through town and go east into the river valley. Lots of trees and park for the children to play in a gazebo for larger parties and walking trails. Golf course is north of the park , 18 holes. Edmonton is a short drive away with all...

The campground it self is pretty clean. The sites are small but there are a lot of play grounds. Our first morning here, we noticed our cooler was on a empty camp site. Someone had in the middle of the night taken it and emptied the contents. Other campers had something similar happen. Coolers and a BBQ stolen. We reported...

The site two down from us had meth addicts staying there; screaming, fighting, and scaring all the other campers. I was able to take my two small children to my aunts site, who thankfully was staying as well, but when the police contacted the campground, they chose to not remove them as they were long term renters. Never returning!

The campground hugs the North Saskatchewan River. There are at least 2 playgrounds. We used the gazebo for the 3 days we were there. Very good facility, horseshoe pits, lovely green grass, a ball diamond. The campsites were very nice as well. I would stay again and make a holiday out of it, visiting the Devonian Botanical Gardens, and heading...

If you enjoy camping in mud (very little grass, where we were) and you love the sound of construction equipment from 8:00am until 6:40pm (dumptrucks dumping sand right in our campsite, and beeping sounds constantly as they backed up, then this is the place for you!!! We were only there 2 days and had 2 days of constant construction!!! When...

BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO MAKE A RESERVATION!!! We reserved a site and enroute to the site had a major breakdown with our motor home. We had to stop overnight 2 hours away to have our brakes repaired. WE CALLED IMMEDIATELY at 2 pm to inform them we would not arrive until the next day! They have a 48 hour...

Great place to camp. Make sure you make a reservation cause thats how busy they get. Lots to do in the area and great walk areas. Found staff very friendly and helpful especially at a late check in. Will be going back again.

We had a disappointment with a "Trailer Boys" type location close by and moved here. Chalk and Cheese. This place is friendly, well laid out, a bit cramped but it has been here for 60 years, and is well maintained. Lot of locals seem to come here. It is quiet, down in the North Saskatchewan River valley, and makes a...

Nicely manicured campground. Full hook ups for a very reasonable price. Couldn't stay long so unable to play golf at what looks like a very nice course next door. Right on the river so very pleasant and quiet location. Staff is efficient although perhaps a bit curt. Good location if you need to get into the south west corner of...
