We traveled to Block Island and the Blue Dory Columbus Day weekend. We love staying in the Tea House which had an updated bathroom since last year. The King size bed is luxurious. Ann, the owner is always so gracious and spends time with the guests during the pre-dinner wine and hors d'oeuvres which are included. She gives you tips... More

Beautiful little Victorian bed and breakfast with excellent food and service. Right on the beach and super dog friendly. Block island is beautiful and quiet in mid September. Afternoon wine and cheese was delightful. Would highly recommend.

There were many things we enjoyed about staying at the Blue Dory Inn. The room was large enough to accommodate 3 of us (King bed plus single bed for grown daughter). Everything was neat & clean and it was a quick, easy walk to the beach, stopping on the way to pick up guest beach towels & chairs. It was... More

A few days away as a couple. Great location with terrific view and proximity to the beach. Cute room. Reasonable. Bed was a little hard for our taste. Activity outside the window could be a little distracting. Stunning beach vistas and sunsets on the southwest end. Look forward to return visit.

The Blue Dory was a great location for us in the off season. It would definitely be too busy for me during the summer. Our room was okay the 1st night,a bit small and a little noisy street side. We were able to move to a much nicer rm for the 2nd night that was oceanside wIthaca a magical skylight... More

Recently spent a week at The Blue Dory and had the most wonderful and relaxing visit. The Inn has a comfy and cozy parlor where guests gather each evening for wine, lemonade, light hor d'oeuvres and home made cookies. It was a great way to meet the other guests and enjoy the company of the owner, Ann. Breakfast is served... More

My wife and I stayed at the beautiful Blue Dory Inn during and after the Labor Day holiday for 5 days. Even though we were visited by the aftermath of Hurricane Hermine, especially the ten foot waves that we could see from our second floor windows overlooking Crescent Beach on Block Island. We still enjoyed ourselves as the Blue Dory... More

My wife and I arrived at the lovely and meticulously maintained Blue Dory Inn the same evening hurricane/tropical storm/tropical depression Hermine was departing. The ferries were still not running, so another couple who were stranded on the island were in the room we had reserved. The proprietor, Ann Law, offered us our choice of the available rooms -- both of... More

Spent a great weekend at the Blue Dory Inn. Comfortable, air conditioned room. Tastefully decorated old Victorian house. Very informative and helpful staff. Ann was fantastic! Making plans for another visit soon. Steps to the beach, ferry and shopping.

We have been staying at the Blue Dory Inn for the past 5 years. We love the location, which is just steps from the ferry and Kids Beach. Breakfast is served downstairs with a different features dish every morning. There are lots of different room styles and sizes to choose from. While some come with sofa beds, they are uneven...
