Another visit to the Griffin Inn, very welcoming and friendly staff. New modern rooms which are lovely. Food is very high standard and breakfast sets you up for the day excellent. Would definitely recommend this pub for quality and service.

From the moment we arrived to the time we departed we were treated to nothing but exemplary customer service. All the staff members we encountered were cheerful and genuine and this was so good to see. All the rooms have been refurbished and ours (number 8) was superb. Best nights sleep for ages. Thank you to all and see you...

Stayed at Griffin Inn for weekend on local visit to area visiting friends. From checkin to checkout it really was one of best hotel stay experiences I have had recently. Take the truly personal touch from the owners and staff of a pub/inn hotel establishment and add in great food in either the dining room or bar setting made this...

We stay here regularly due to family living very close. They are always helpful and welcoming and no problem is too small to be solved. Most recently we stayed for a couple of days over Christmas and even though they were very busy, they still welcomed us and even went the extra mile to turn our double room into a...

The room had recently being refurbished to a very high standard and exceeded ones expectations. The room was warm, cosy and very comfortable. One was dining with a party of 10 that evening. We all thoroughly enjoyed...

We stayed at this hotel for one night on the 19th November. The accommodation was excellent at a reasonable price. We ate in the restaurant and found our evening meal and breakfast were good. The staff were helpful. We had a problem when the room heating didn't come on which was rectified quickly after we reported it. I would fully...

Stayed here recently on a business trip as the location was good for my meetings. The check in was slick and the receptionist took time to show me to my room... always a good sign. The room was spacious and modern. The shower with a dinner plate sized head promised a powerful warm experience but the flow would have struggled...

With recent refurbishment of the bedrooms and as a regular visitor over many years I can say that I would recommend the Griffin to a traveler. The place has a homely atmosphere with a good pub, friendly staff and the food's not bad either.
