Adorable local resident caravans, one minute stunning walk to the beach, beautifully presented and clean cabins, surrounded by nature, quiet and the most important aspect, actually affordable and with vacancy which is as rare as anything in Byron these days! Great spot for a quiet beachside getaway. Near to an excellent beach and close enough to local shops for any supplies - or a good meal at the local hotel.
The park is well kept with all sites having an artifical turf base or a concrete slab for a level camp. All sites powered and watered.
Staff are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended

I first stayed at this beautiful Holiday Park in 2021 and returned this year for another wonderful experience. It’s a smaller park with plenty of greenery, offering a sense of space and privacy that’s hard to find elsewhere. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the direct beach access makes the location truly exceptional.
While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, there’s one downside that applies not only to this park but to many similar ones: the rising prices. Camping has long been a more affordable holiday option for families and individuals living further inland, offering them a chance to enjoy a beachside getaway. However, with prices increasing each year, this opportunity is becoming less accessible to many, particularly those on lower incomes.
What’s particularly concerning is that many of these holiday and caravan parks are now run by councils, which also oversee local rates. This raises questions about accessibility and equity. I hope councils and state governments will reconsider their pricing strategies in the future to ensure that families and individuals from all income levels can once again afford a relaxing holiday by the beach, rather than it becoming an experience reserved only for higher-income earners.

We have stayed several times and love the cabins. The staff is very helpful, and the accommodation is spotless, comfy and the location is just perfect. Suffolk beach is a stone throw away, the famous bakery and shops are in close walking distance and the facilities are well maintained the park is quiet. Five stars!

This is a fantastic spot for a getaway. Perfect location on the beach, close to shops, coffee, pub, takeaway. The artificial turf on the campsites makes camping so easy, clean and convenient. The bathroom amenities were very clean and well maintained. The camp kitchen is adequate, with plenty of seating around it for family meals.

Overall cleanliness of cabin was poor, internet was insufficient for streaming let alone working. Great location on the beach, 5 minute walk to Jimmy’s coffee, grocery store, and lovely bakery. Recommend hiring bikes from Byron Bay Bikes, as public transport is extremely limited. Staff was responsive via email, but little interaction outside of that.

I love this holiday park and just keep returning. The managers, Daryl and Michele, are so helpful and go above and beyond to accommodate any requests. The location is perfect, right on the beach, cafes, a tavern and restaurants just a few steps down the road and Byron Bay town a short drive or bike ride. The Park is clean and well kept with a well equipped camp kitchen. As a solo traveller, I feel completely safe and can enjoy my privacy without hassle and can also chat to friendly people if I'm in the mood. I've stayed in the cabins, safari tents and my caravan and loved each stay. Highly recommend.

Dated cabins, dead roaches under bed. Unsuited for remote work: Telstra coverage is poor & the A$ 50 'fast' internet package they offer is a scam (speed rated 'very slow' by google's speedtest, too slow to load a wiki page). Close to an amazing beach though, with a sweet surf break.

It was unfortunate that there was a dead cockroach under the bed,(we only had the accommodation sprayed early that week). Suffolk Park does have poor signal for the internet. I think this is the perfect place to holiday if you’re looking to be close enough to the action but far enough away you can really rest and relax to have the best of both worlds. It’s close to some great shops. The beach is stunning, sites are lovely with artificial turf and plenty of shade or sun depending on preferences. Staff and friendly and helpful. Amenities are dated but very clean and tidy. Only current negative is no wifi and no bins except the skip at the entrance which is dangerous to use for most but a strong man. Definitely a let down when paying a fair bit for a caravan park hence the value rating. Otherwise it would be perfect.

Hi Maria,
Thank you for your query, the centre of Byron Bay is 5.5kms away from our Park, and is on average just a 10 minute car drive away. There are also buses and taxis that will take you into town. We hope this is of help.
Hi, unfortately we do not have fire pits, as open flame is not permitted in the area due to the hazard of bush fires starting. If you brought your own brazier that sits over a metal tray, and used only heat beads and not firewood, then that is permitted when fully supervised. We hope this has been of help.
Hi, thank you for your query. Yes reservations are recommended all year around, but particularly in warmer months of the year such as March. We are regularly booked out most weekends, and the further you book ahead usually the better site you would get. There is plenty of availability for March at the moment, but that will change probably drastically between now and then. We hope this answers your query.
