Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Took a short family break to Tangalooma with our two teenagers. Overall everything was great. Everything was a little on the expensive side but we figured the location made up for that. The rooms were fabulous we just struggled with sleeping because although the pillows were big and fluffy, they had no real support in them so found it hard to get comfortable at night and woke up with headaches in the morning.

The rooms are clean and tidy, pillow options are limited. The bar area is open and inviting, but the service was a bit hit and miss. The drinks are overpriced. Good selection of food available. Fire & Stone restaurant was our favourite, with excellent service and authentic Asian cuisine.

We love visiting, easy to get to and such a relaxed vibe. It has become a yearly holiday for us. We love that everything is in one location. Great accommodation, views, food and activities.we did the ATV’s, Dolphin feeding, Snorkeling, Illuminated Wrecks tour and Banana boat ride.

We enjoyed our stay here. Lots of activities and positive energy. Smiles on staff and people's faces everywhere. Good range of food and drinks with very reasonable prices. Will definitely come back and this time for fishing. Thanks guys and keep up the fantastic work!

Spent 2 days here, the shipwreck snorkel was fun but I’d probably rent gear and swim out. The guided trip was rushed. Rent a car and drive the island, so amazing. Having a 200 character min for taking the time to write a review is really stupid

It was a great stay in the apartment. Ducted air-conditioning throughout the apartment was good. WiFi internet was very poor reception, and we were surprised it was only 200 MB free, and you have to pay extra for an additional data. However, overall stay was excellent with plenty of activities available for choose from.

Great island getaway just over an hour from Brisbane. Resort is a little dated now but prefer that over modern overcrowded resort. Dolphin feeding is excellent for the kids, make sure you book a tour of the wrecks as very difficult to swim across the strong current.

Stayed in deluxe hotel room. Room was good, but spent most time enjoying the island. The bed was comfy and the view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the quad bike tour. So much fun. Dolphin feeding was actually pretty cool too.

Tangalooma Island Resort was amazing! Absolutely breathtaking scenery with so much to do on the Island. The wild dolphin feeding was absolutely incredible. Such a magical experience! We thoroughly enjoyed parasailing, Sam and Will were awesome and worked together so well. They made our experience one to remember. Would highly recommend visiting Tangalooma!

The gardens are just beautiful. The resort is very busy, very commercial. The drinks are very, very expensive. The tours and activities we did were well worth doing and worth the money. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
