Booked a 3 night stay for my wife's birthday and it didn't disappoint. Great accomodation, lots of activities to enjoy and beautiful scenery. Snorkeling the "Wrecks" is a must do and the Desert tour and sand tobogganing was a blast. All in all a fantastic weekend.

We only went for a day trip but after living in Brisbane for many (many years) it was a delight to find this gem only 20km from Brisbane. The weather was (very) hot, but the water was cool. Lunch at the resort was good value, service was cheerful and prompt, and the beer was cold. The catamaran ferry was modern...

We enjoyed our visit to Tangalooma Island!! Feeding the dolphins was definitely a highlight of the trip. The sunsets were spectacular!!! Would love to go again during warmer months when the water warms up for snorkeling and swimming!!

We (4 adults and 5 kids) stayed at Villa no.5 for 1 week over the new year. The villa is excellent and it has most of the stuff we need during our stay. It is a stone throw to the beach and walking distance to the main resort. The resort has lots of activities for the young and old. Prices...

Absolutely loved our stay on the island. Such a beautifully tropical location so close to Brisbane. The beaches are to die for and the water is crystal clear. The resort has a very relaxed atmosphere and is very clean and tidy with lush tropical gardens. The only down side was the noise which started early each morning, I am assuming...

Stayed at the Tangalooma resort for 3 days. Here are few of my observations: - Great accommodation. We stayed at the Deep Blue Apartment II. The apartment had 3 bedrooms which was enough space for 8 of us (4 adults and 4 children). The accommodation seemed recently furbished and was quite clean and presented nicely. I mainly stay in Mantra...

I have been to Tangalooma a number of times over the past 10 years and I was very pleased with the modifications and renovations they have made to the main area. I cannot comment on the resort accommodation as I stay in the private villas however I am able to use all resort facilities and at all times they are...

Hour and 10 minute by boat from Holt Street wharf, Brisbane. Great views from the Kookaburra appartments. Fridge, TV, shower, toilet and comfy bed. Unreal white beach with many opportunities to go snorkelling in the crystal clear ocean waters. Great food and all staff are friendly and helpful. Many activities to do.

Location is great, but accomodation is terrible. Very dated and unmaintained. Very dangerous for children. Broken fly screens, wardrobes unfunctioning, broken drains. Room is not cleaned properly. Mould in bathroom, cob webs everywhere. Food from previous guests found under beds. Mentioned all to reception on first day. Abolsutely no response from resort, and nothing fixed.

Dear Steveanne54, I’m sorry to hear about your experience. This is highly unusual and not even remotely a normal guest experience at Tangalooma Island Resort. I will personally take this matter further as we do have a system in place for such feedback to be actioned promptly. If there was any breakdown in this system I want to personally address...
