Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Worse holiday ever! Arrived Christmas Eve and we were left with a dirty uncleaned cottage! Where do you find a new place that time of year? We eventually got hold off the host as the nr on our reservation was the old owners?! We were promised a refund… still waiting 🤦‍♀️ The non stop swearing from the house .. about 1km was horrendous so bad that we had to leave the property and who likes being woke up by a tractor at 6:30 am! I’ve tried to contact the owners but haven’t had any luck either

We stayed in banksia cottage for 3 nights and had a pleasant stay. The cabin was as expected with the usual soft furnishings, large bed, small kitchen, a slow combustion fire, bathroom with spa and separate toilet. General cleanliness of the cottage was good - very clean floor, bathroom and surfaces - with the exception of the kitchen. There was dried lipstick on the wine glasses, hardened food on the frying pan, saucepans and the slotted spoons which was a disappointment. I spent a bit of time washing everything that we intended to use over our 3 nights. The king bed was very comfortable with quality linen and plenty of pillows. Plenty of wood was available from a huge pile just down the track and on the second day some wood was placed in the little shelter close to the cabin which made things easier especially seeing rain was forecast. All up a nice stay, relaxing after the initial frustration. I do think a refresh of the kitchen pots, pans and utensils would be a good idea. The cows make the visit worthwhile!

We regularly stay at silver springs at least once a year. We've stayed in tee tree, banksia and silver springs. We love the homely feeling, how we can relax with Cookie, going for walks and relaxing by the fire at night. We really do feel at home here every visit. Can't wait to go back in 2 weeks!!!!

Me and my partner visit Silversprings Farm in June and we stayed 2 nights in Red Gum. The spa is huge and the atmosphere of the landscape around is magical, perfect for our dogs, they had so much fun going around the farm. Marg and Andy are lovely and we felt super special. Highly recommend :)

We stayed at the Silversprings cottages, RedGum cottage on the 9th,10th and 11th of November 2018. The grounds themselves were nice, however I would have expected the weeding around our cottage to be done. The cottage itself was designed well and in nice colours, but we were very dissatisfied with how dirty the place was. There was black mould in the corner of the bathroom, with black mould in the grout. It would not take much to clean. Hair was left in the spa bath. There are no light over the bathroom mirror, so getting your makeup on is a challenge. In the corners of the windows in the kitchen were large cob webs with active spiders. One of 5e kitchen doors were broken and very dirty inside. In all corners the vacuuming had not been done and definitely has never been done for some time under the couch and bed, quiet disgusting actually. Both my partner and I were itchy and had bad sinuses due to the dust on the floors and corners. When you took your shoes off the floor was sticky. We payed over $700 for the three nights, if the place had of been cleaned we would offer a much better review. Tammy and Katja Chidlow WA

Took my partner away for a few days to de-stress and found these cottages. Stayed in Red Gum which is for 2 people. Cottages are all self contained with an open plan living, private and beautifully peaceful. The shower was fantastic and the log fire is amazing, warmed the whole place up and made the nights very cosy. Dogs are allowed, we’ll definitely be bringing them back next time. Great location near Churchview Winery, the Beerfarm and the Margaret River chocolate company. Only a short drive to either Busselton or Margaret River. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some time out and to relax.

We have visited silver springs a few times and we are never disappointed. They make you feel at home and they love your dog as much as you do. The cottages are beautiful, and contain everything you need.
