Hotel located in great location in the heart of shopping area, which 20 minutes from airport. Room is clean and the staffs are polite. Breakfast Ok and the taste is good, and variety is so so (standard budget hotel). Sure will coming back again for the next visit.
Was here with my wife for 2 nights, great location inside the famous mall area in Batam. lovely staff from the front office, very helpful. the room was clean and nice, breakfast was so average (considering the room price) .. overall ok
Been staying in this hotel for a few times as i like the location and so far the service and rooms was ok. But this time, all of us feel very disappointed with the hotel. I rather book somewhere else. - We booked 3 rooms and all rooms smell horrible. I think the whole floor smelly. - The bed and pillow so smelly as well - They called me at 1 pm and ask if i will be checking in or not. You have charged my credit card, so even if i dont come, you should not release my rooms. Its time for the hotel to refurbish.
Booked 2 rooms and stayed at Amaris Batam for 1 night for the family. Location was very good as it is just beside a major mall and there was a massage parlour "Le Orient Spa" just next to it. Massage was cheap and service was good. The price of the hotel room was also attractive but I was soon reminded of the phrase "you pay peanuts, you get monkeys". There were mosquitoes in the rooms and toilets. The bed sheets weren't totally clean with some permanent stains on them. About 10pm, 1 unknown local Male came knocking on my room door. So much for hotel security. The worse was experienced in the morning. Breakfast was pathetic. We arrived about 8am local time. There was literally nothing much to eat. There was a live egg station and the GSA manning the station was by the name of Nazrian. Made a request for 2 omelettes and 4 sunny side ups. He acknowledged. I stood there and waited but only to see him serve the Indonesian "bapaks" who just came up and spoke to him in their native language. WTF!!! Got pissed off and left to get some bread. When I'm full from that, 4 sunny side ups were served to me. 🤬 Nice way to treat your foreign guest! Definitely not returning and I wouldn't recommend the hotel to foreigners too. Really a holiday spoiler!…
Location - The location is good for a short trip. Beside Nagoya Mall which you can get almost everything there, including food and entertainment eg movies (in Nagoya Mall)/ family karaoke (outside the mall). Rooms - Dirty old bed sheet with hole and stains. i found fine sands on my bed and my friend found human hair on hers, and i hate soft bed (i saw review with comfy and nice bed thou). I started to sneeze badly when i entered the room. I did not see any reviews about the morning prayer when i booked the rooms through an online travel agency. The morning prayer started around 5am, second one around 6am. I was assigned with a room facing the main road and beside the PA system. :( Staff - Front desk staff were helpful and polite. Housekeeping staff delivered the extra pair of bedroom slippers which i requested timely. F&B staff who on morning breakfast duty did not take initiative to replenish the food items until guests highlighted. Overall - Not worth the price, won't come back again and will not recommend this hotel to my friends and family.…
