My friend and I stayed here as part of a week long horse riding tour. The rustic buildings are nestled in a scenic part of Sicily where you can see vineyards on the next hill and the sea in the distance. The wisteria growing around the terrace and wine barrels dotted along made it feel warm and comfortable. Nico was... More

Luogo Marchese is a ranch and a bed and breakfast offering riding holidays with Sicily Horse tours and the opportunity to explore the North West part of Sicily from a base in the Madonie National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty. I put this in because I think, reading some of the other reviews that the people visiting had... More

We stayed overnight in this picturesque Agri Turismo farm house & couldn't stop wondering & exploring the area. Accommodation in the proximity of the farmhouse & very well maintained. Parking secured & surrounded with animals was a unique experience. The Owner & helpers were very helpful with all our needs. We also had dinner to avoid driving down hill &... More

This is a bed and breakfast. I arrived late, greeted by the owner who was nice enough to provide a ventilator since the rooms have no AC. I took out my pyjama, took a shower, killed 2 flies on the wall who were begging for mercy, clapped 2 mosquitoes, stepped on a coachroach and pointed the ventilator at me for... More

Nico gave us a warm welcome with a refreshing glass of white wine. during our stay he made nice conversation and gave us excellent tips about nice ways to enjoy the lovely surroundings of Cefalù. Nico is an excellent cook and even made some vegetarian dishes when he found out that one of us eats vegetarian. he kept on checking... More

It gives me no pleasure at all to write a scathing review, like I am about to do, but if it enables some readers to make a more informed choice for their holiday accommodations, I guess it's the right thing to do. This place was recommended to us by Sicilian friends, but unfortunately they hadn't actually seen it for years.... More

The tenuta is situated in the hills, nationalpark Madonie, close to Cefalu. The rooms are nicely decorated and the surrounding is quiet. Breakfast is good - selfmade cake, jam-really yammi. You can also order dinner/lunch...also good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Alessandro speaks good English and also German. You can join trekking our riding groups. Riding makes really fun there... We had the best New Year ever! Food was perfect, room all renovated and very cosy, clean and nice in a traditional way. The place was fullly booked and we enjoyed every minute of this special place with all other guests. Everuthung was perfectly organised, staff was very welcoming and warm. Food was excellent and the Italian Champagne 'Prosecco' was... More

My husband and I took a two-week tour of Sicily this summer. After planning it for many weeks, we ended up having a marvelous experience, with the exception of the time spent at Tenuta Luogo Marchese. The place changed management in August 2008 (or at least that what we were told), but the new owner and his team are a... More
