Vestlia is a large hotel catering for families ( weekends and holidays ) and business persons during the week with the largest conference hall in Norway. It looks stylish with its decor of a large lodge house but needs attention to stop areas becoming tired. The breakfast was extremely well catered for with abundant choices and the staff were ever...

Vestlia offers great spa and pool facilities, bowling lanes and great location nearby one of Geilo's nicest slopes. It is big, but at the same time cosy. Art on display adds a luxurious impression. The place is very family friendly, and there are kids everywhere - in the weekend. I believe there is more quiet during the week. The food...

Beautiful hotel! Just returned from a wonderful relaxing weeks holiday. I travelled with friends who had 3 children, the hotel was great for all of us. the rooms were lovely and clean and well decorated. The hotel has something for everyone, we used the play area, family pool, bowling alley and the Spa. The spa candle massage is wonderful. The...

I would normally avoid anywhere described as a 'family destination' but I was travelling with my partner and his 4 year old. Unfortunately it also turned out to be Norwegian school holidays so there were kids everywhere, running around, taking over the pool, taking food from the buffet, then putting it back with fingers. I really don't like being around...

This was our first ski trip to Norway and whilst my husband and i are avid skiers are our children are still learning. So we sacrificed the black runs and went for what has been described in many magazines and articles as the perfect family destination - Norway. We were not disappointed and loved absolutely everything about the place. This...

I stayed here recently with my husband and 5 year daughter, we were all first time skiers and couldn't of picked a better place to stay. The hotel is really geared up for families with a great buffet selection for breakfast & dinner, bowling alley (which we didn't have time to use unfortunately), big swimming pool with waterslide which got...

So where do I start?! It's a good hotel, but is good good enough? No unfortunately it's just not good enough. See, when you have travelled the world and you are a very good skier then this hotel/resort has some serious things missing: - it's not a real 4 star! Why? No dry cleaning service, no room safe, not high...

This is the second year in a row that we have chosen this hotel for our annual skiing holiday. The skiing is excellent when you are a beginner like me and there is plenty of skiing to keep you busy for a week. The hotel is just so relaxing - lovely suite fab a la carte food most nights (three...

Nice room overlooking the ski slopes, not a huge room, but night enough for a short stay, bathroom is nice with heated floor, bug pool and jacuzzi, be warned the spa they advertise is an extra, good food but expensive, but this is Norway. Staff friendly and helpful, weekends are very busy on the hotel and restaurant Everything is clean...
