Everything in this hotel is purple. For me this is ok as it is my favorite color. Some might be put off, but look beyond the purple. This is a very nice hotel and restaurant. Not pretentious but comfortable, clean with a really good restaurant. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast which was included in the price was...

From the ultra-modern decor to the beautiful artworks on display in the dining room, everything about this hotel is lovely. My room was the perfect size for just me - double bed, wardrobe, desk, with separate toilet/shower room, and immaculately clean. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the service was excellent. There is not much to do in...

Although not the first visit to this hotel, I never cease to be amazed at the quality of service I receive. After a long and arduous journey,it was a joy to arrive. The welcome was warm and friendly. Despite my poor French, and the owners non existent English, the lovely young lady had extreme patience and we managed to make...

Book well in advance but did not look to see where it was , bit out of town and as others have said rooms are a " bit" smallish but for stop overs it was one of the best I have ever stayed in . The attention to detail was remarkable , not even chipped paint in the hallways ,...

Just off the main roadway, ample parking excellent room but no lift. English is not spoken, but able to communicate the essentials. I just did not know what the door code slip significant was for, not just late nite entry, but on Sunday with no new guests arriving they locked up as night had occurred and you need that code...

We stayed in this hotel as it was close to Monet's garden - about a five minute drive. Although the room was small it was fine for one night. Too cramped for any longer. The shutter system on the windows was excellent (electrically operated with switch by the light switch at the door) as it shut out all the light...

I travel often to Vernon for business, and I've tested almost all the hotels on the area. The baryton is a good hotel, the hotel rooms are average, but the restaurant is excellent, real good quality food, smiling service. I recomend to take the "soirée etapeé, room + restaurant.

Madame Duval and her daughter are charming and polite people..Whilst it is useful to speak some French I cannot imagine them being other than helpful and pleasant to anyone who cannot. The restaurant is excellent but is closed on Sundays..My experience is based on several visits

Set in a hamlet 4km. from Giverny, Barton Restaurant /Hotel exceeded our expectations for a 2 star. The family-run 35 room inn was clean, had a small area for drinks, a patio and very good food, leaving time to relax without searching for a restaurant. Breakfast was generous. The modest rooms were adequate and in good condition, accessed by stairs...
