We spent 2 nights at Saliris with our family. We booked superior rooms overlooking the valley with balcony, the view was beautiful. The room was spacious, clean but beware that the toilet and bathroom had glass doors, very intimate. The spa is huge with indoor/outdoor pools, but it was really crowded. You have to pay additional 2000ft/day for the sauna, which was most of the time crowded...

The place is modern, clean and well run. Lots of variety from kids water slides etc to sauna and steam. The medicinal waters outside were very relaxing and said to work wonders for all sorts of ailments. It was great to be outside in minus 2 temperatures and be completely comfortable. The sauna was another highlight. Go at 2, 4...

The hotel has a huge spa area with many pools inside and outside, thermal and normal water which is better for children. There is a nice (and unique in Hungary) hill made from salt next to the hotel. It is so relaxing, specially in winter time, to sit in the hot water outdoor and being surrounded by the beautiful nature....

The Saliris Resort Spa had everything you could ask for and it was the most pleasurable place to be. The hotel part was fabulous. The rooms were big enough and very comfortable. The dining was first class. Breakfast & Dinner only but that was more than enough. As for the spa, well needless to say it was the main destination...

I was there alone, just to deflate the steam. The hotel is marvellous, clean. The prices are reasonable. It's spa is unmatchful. I had a really good time. There are a lot of wellness services, what you are offered.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Saliris is an invented, compound word meaning "salt rainbow." It refers on the one hand to the salt hill that has become a symbol of Egerszalók, and on the other hand to the diversity that the Resort offers. Our goal is that visitors think back on their visit as experience-rich and positively recharging, pondering when they can make a return visit. ... more   less
