Mirador Springs is one of Gippsland's most beautiful accommodation venues. Set high on the Strzelecki Ranges overlooking Mt Baw Baw, you are instantly immersed in the tranquility of nature. The Cottage itself has a country chic feel that provides everything you need for a relaxing stay including ornate french fireplace, luxury linens, plush robes, complementary wifi, in-room movies and premium amenities. The majestic gardens at Mirador Springs form the basis of the entire property and were first established by renowned local artist Reg Fazzini in the early 1970's. Originally part of Victoria's "Open Garden Scheme" the expansive lawns, meandering paths, tiered walkways, natural spring and stunning views are all remarkably entwined and lead you on an unforgettable journey through this hidden paradise.

I would give this more stars if I could. We spent a night here with the glamping experience. Anne the host was an amazing communicator with all information we needed sent out the week beforehand. The tent itself has everything you could possibly need for a night away from home. We brought our own food and used the pizza oven for dinner, the picnic basket provided for sunset drinks and nibbles and the coffee machine and toaster in the morning. The sunset at the bottom deck/paddock is not to be missed, as well as getting up close to the beautiful donkeys and sheep that reside here. The bathing house just tops this experience off. And don’t forget to check out the stars while you’re here - I’ve never seen them so clearly. Thank you to the host Anne for a most incredible experience!…

Personally the most tranquil glamping experience we have had. A huge thank you to Anne who made this possible. The host that went above and beyond to make this happen and made sure we were looked after regarding relaxation, comfort and without a doubt welcomed. Would love to also recommend the lovely Jodi the masseuse, she left us feeling rejuvenated. We could not recommend more highly Kind regards Julie and James

My husband and I tried our first glamping experience in the beautiful location of Mirador Springs in the Trafalgar hills. Despite it being wet, cold and generally a pretty miserable weather weekend - the stay itself was serene, peaceful and the perfect opportunity to snug up and spend some much needed time doing nothing. Ok, not exactly nothing - the tent is beautifully and stylishly setup with all the things to get you by - heater, coffee machine, microwave, games, electric blankets on the bed and of course, the beautiful private bathhouse next door to the tent. But no TV - perfect! We also ordered an antipasto platter and breakfast provisions for the next morning. Falling asleep to the sounds of frogs, birds, possums and the rain was a magical experience - we managed 9 hours, which is unheard of for us two workaholics! We loved the location and are keen to try the cottage stay next time and take in the beautiful gardens on the property. …

My husband and I wanted a night away. Mirador fit the bill well. A quaint one bedroom, separate lounge, separate bathroom and separate kitchen cottage - kept cool by design and fans. Lovely breakfast (which you cook yourself) a vegetarian option was available. Big comfortable bed. Lovely outlook and nice walks to be had on the property. Loved hearing and seeing the donkeys. Only met Kim and he was very friendly. The private, quiet relaxing night away that we wanted. Thanks.

Lovely quiet getaway in beautiful surroundings. The cottage was very comfortable (bed & couch) with a kitchen stocked with quality goodies. Great value for money, and we look forward to returning. The best Pet Friendly place we have ever stayed in.

Highly recommend this wonderful country b&b situated high up on the Strezlecki Ranges overlooking the town of Trafalgar in Gippsland Victoria. The accommodation in the self contained cottage was so cosy and comfortable we didn't want to leave. Wood fire, beautiful views for miles, surrounded by lovely gardens that you could lose yourself in, our hosts have done a wonderful job of making this a real country escape you'll remember for a long time and tell all your friends about which we have done. 10 out of 10.

A beautiful and restful place that allows lucky couples (with a dog) to enjoy a single cottage overlooking a stunning valley. The surrounds are very special, amazing plants, trees and a spring pond.. and all of it is yours to wander around. The cottage is really comfy, (bed linen is lovely) and breakfast provided. Nice touches like books, candles, some chocolates, cds make this a great place for a weekend, or like us a place to rest and revive just for a night. Thanks Lucilla.

Hubby, dog and me had 3 very relaxing days at Mirador Springs taking in the surrounding area. The walk around the gardens and the spring pond was lovely, we saw dragon flies (bright blue males) , different birds, imperial butterfly was a bonus , lots of plants in flower plus citrus trees with some ripe fruit. The cottage was well equipped with breakfast provisions, eggs from the property, bacon, butter, juice, fruit, yoghurt, bread and condiments, different teas, coffee and milk. There was a small BBQ that we used for 2 days. The couch was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was amazing. The kitchen provided all that was necessary to make our stay feel like home. Bathroom was a good size as was the bedroom. Our little dog had a great time investigating around the cottage and thoroughly enjoyed the walks around the grounds. We would recommend a stay at Mirador Springs, for a relaxing 2-3 days stay or a little longer to explore the surrounding area....plenty to see.…

We spent 3 nights here in September and really enjoyed the peace and serenity. Lovely location and grounds. The cottage was well equipped and the breakfast supplies generous. Bonus was being able to bring our dog with us. Would recommend for a short relaxing break.

A wonderful and tranquil location set on the hills looking towards the north. The cabin is isolated from the main house and has a great little balcony that makes you feel like your amoungst the bush. We had some parrots fly right up to the tree next to the balcony. The only form of heating was the canara style fire, which was very adequate during our stay in September. The owners provide food for you to cook up in the morning for breakfast. We didn't, but I'm sure you could ask for more eggs, bread etc if you ran out. For dinner it's a short drive back to Trafalgar or Yarragon. Would definitely recommend staying at Mirador.

Hey, Thanks Steve & Lizzie for your visit here at Mirador Springs and for your review. Good to hear you enjoyed it & got the most out of the beautiful setting of the cottage! We have never had anyone ask for extra breakfast, usually there's left overs, but naturally, if anyone felt it was insufficient, as you say, just ask!
