This was our second stay, the first was in the large Cottage, the second in a smaller cabin. Both experiences were fantastic - spent hours just watching the waves roll in. Cabin/Cottage are of excellent quality, much nicer than some other parks we have stayed at. We will try to make this a yearly visit - winter is an especially lovely time to go. Thanks for having us :)

We camped for two nights. Loved it! Very cheap off season. The customer service is excellent. The views are amazing, and location is great. We had some bad weather one day, so we made the most of the shared kitchen and chill area (this does shut about 9pm), and hiked the second day - please get out and enjoy the beautiful coastal trail while you're there - and support the local general store which has beautiful homemade food! Will be back :)

My wife & I booked a 2 night stay in one of the Ocean view cabins.
Very hard to adequately describe what a delight these cabins are. Firstly, they are in an absolute clifftop position with magnificent views of the beach , reef & surf. Lovely porch area with outdoor table & seating with a verandah across the front of the cabin. Inside was an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen, 1 dbl bedroom, 1 x 4 bunk room, bathroom & separate toilet. Kitchen was well equipped & bed very comfortable. However, the views are to die for no matter if you are at the dining table, in the lounge or on the verandah.
It's not cheap ($249 p.n.) but we enjoyed it so much we will definitely be returning.
Highly recommended!

What a wonderful place this is. An absolute hidden gem. Probably not for too long now, the secret is out!🤣 We've been coming here for a few yrs and hiring the cabins, but just recently they are now hosted by Jemma and Michelle and WOW what wonderful ladies they are. Great team. Cannot do enough for you. Absolutely brilliant. So obliging and approachable. Fantastic customer service and bringing in fresh new ideas! Cheese platters and dinner packs to purchase on your arrival etc. Anyway, keep up the great work ladies. 🙏👌👍Fantastic.👏

Came here for a night in a campervan. Booking was easy enough with avery nice reception when arrived. The location is beautiful, overlooking he sea with a beach nearby. The sites were gravel and grass and a good size and lovely view. The facilities are clean and basic but functional if not brilliant. No wifi available. The cost is okay @$53 for an ocean view powered site. Recommend

We recently stayed for 3 nights in an ocean view unit. The unit was well equipped, cosy and comfy. But the views were spectacular. We spent many hours just gazing out the windows, watching the sky change colour, rainbows and the changing colour of the ocean. Definitely recommend a stay here, especially in winter. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful ocean view deluxe cabin that is deluxe! Fireplace looking out to ocean. Great outdoor deck. Awesome beach and quiet town away from busyness of cowes but still close enough to get to all local attractions. Highly recommended 👌

We didn't spend much time here but the time we did was not well spent. Beach access from caravan park was hard to find, toilet was blocked, rabbit holes and un-even surface, the owners were horrible people to deal with and we were absolutely shocked they can run a business. Powlett river is another 15 mins up the road I would strongly recommend staying there. Much cheaper also

We are very disappointed with this review as we seek constructive feedback to improve our guest experience. Both sets of steps to the beach are clearly marked. The few rabbits are a pest that we are continuously seeking to control but come in from neighbouring property. A blocked toilet (not all) was due to an over-exuberant child with a roll of toilet paper and once brought to our manager's attention was promptly fixed.

After arriving a day later than my companions we attempted to locate them by driving the service roads in the 'resort', as you do.
On our second pass of the a building a sour faced and angry looking elderly gentleman was standing there and threw hands up in our direction. I said to my companion don't stop as he looks angry.
I gestured we were looking by pointing to my eyes and we continued past. We made a u-turn as we couldn't see our friends camp and thought maybe we were in the wrong 'resort'.
As we turned around the same old man pulled up in a ute marked with the park name infront of our car so we couldn't continue.
My companion and I wound our window down to greet what, now we saw his ute, we assumed would be a park manager.
We didn't get a chance for pleasantries as straight away he launched into an aggressive, angry rant.
He asked 'what do you think your bloody doing?'. We answers we were a looking for our friends who had a camp in the 'resort' he answers that we shouldn't be bloody driving around doing that.
We apologised and answered we weren't aware of this and what would he like us to do? He demanded we go to see him first before doing anything. he also abuses us for apparently speeding. Mind you we were doing no more than 10km/h due to speed bumps and small service roads. Also there wasn't a single person or child in the camp. @ the time. The speed limit is 5km/h, but we couldn't apologise to this wretched man.
We asked him to move his ute and we'll leave, he said 'good idea'.
As we were leaving we found our friends camp.
On stopping and telling them the story the elderly gentleman then sent his equally wretched wife over to continue the berating.
This lady was extremely aggressive and arrogant and after enduring her abuse I decided to leave the park.

Now, I currently disabled due to a motorcycle accident and travelled a considerable distant to enjoy a quiet celebration of a close friend getting married. I'm not long out of hospital and still struggle with my quite obvious injuries. It was a big effort for me to make it to this day and the attitude of park management ruined my celebratory mood after so long in a bad state.
I left the 'resort' to diffuse the situation and I was extremely embarrassed and shocked for this to happen in front of a group of people I'd only just met.
The grounds for camping are cel trendily lumpy and unsuitable for tents so I'm guess I dodged a bullet.

I'm now on my way home again due to totally disgusting management attitude. If you make the mistake of booking @ this resort, make sure you follow the rules, even the unwritten ones, or incur the wrath of the elderly, out of touch with simple hospitality, angry, unreasonable management.

For a fun time stay elsewhere.

It is really disappointing when a group of disgruntled people use a review to seek to deliberately damage reputations. We are sorry that this group of people spoiled their trip by virtue of their own unacceptable behaviour and then cannot accept responsibility. Speeding in a holiday park is unacceptable - drifting around a corner is done at much more than 10 kms per hour. It is common courtesy and sense to go to Reception to locate friends rather than DIY search. Foul and offensive language is not tolerated. We are more than happy for readers to call us to discuss any concerns.

We stayed here for 4 night last October while down for the Moto Gp. I would not call where we were camped a 'site' by any means. The ground was uneven and full of rabbit holes. The other sites we viewed were equally badly maintained with uneven ground. There was no where to place our waste water so it went over the cliff down the hill. The amenities were adequate and always clean.
The location is fantastic as far as the view goes, but you have not protection from the elements and if a southerly blows in, you will be at its mercy as there is no wind breaks at all.

Thank you for your review - all guest comments are appreciated. We note several mitigating factors. Rabbits are a problem as they live outside our boundary (some guest think they are cute!) but there are no burrows on our sites just a few scratchings that appear overnight - these are filled regularly. Last October the sites had been dug to instal new powerheads & fire hoses. They have since been dressed. We will review the disposal of grey water.

Hi There. Are you able to tell me if the luxury ocean view villa has a bath or spa bath please? Cheers!
Answer from Pierre M
Melbourne, Australia179 contributions52 helpful votes
We stayed there in one of the Luxury ocean view villas. There is no spa or bath in these villas, just a very good shower and basin configuration. If I remember correctly, there was a separate toilet. The view from these villas is exceptional, with very nice walks in the immediate area, either on the beach or on the rail trail.
