An inspiring and stunningly beautiful destination only fifteen minutes from Wilson's Promontory. The apartments are five star quality, beautifully appointed, and have stunning views of Waratah Bay and the Islands of Bass Strait. Only six guests can stay at one time. The cellar door below the Tuscan inspired villa is open from 12 to 5 most weekends, and through the season.

We dropped in for a snack to eat on our long weekend road trip. The cheese platter & wine were lovely & the view, amazing! The owner was so friendly and our little one was thrilled when he was given a complimentary treat. Well worth the visit!

We had only one night at Basia Mille, but even this short time was enough to understand how great is this place to rest. There are not many rooms to stay, but owners Tony and Geraldine make everything for their guests to feel that they are in heaven. Building and nature around really remind you Italian Tuscany region. Room with glass doors across the bed allow to to see beautiful view when your eyes are opened morning time without getting out of bed. Opened veranda is at your service all the time, but it is great during the evening prior to go to bed to seat or lay there and watch vinery and olive trees around.
Room is very comfortable and you have there everything what you need, even blanket to cover yourself when you spend evening time in veranda chair. Vine cellar is very nice and vine is delicious too. We also purchased several bottles home to remember this place. Thanks to Tony and Geraldine for making our vacation day unforgettable.

It was great to have you and Biana stay Daniel. You had such beautiful weather when you were here and the evening was so still with such magical views to the Prom. We do hope you visit again. Very best wishes. Geraldine and Tony.

We dropped in late after a trip to the Prom. We wished we'd gotten there earlier to enjoy more of the wine, facilities and view. Definitely worth a visit even if it's just to enjoy the view but you'll be sorry if you don't try the wine and olive oil. Owners and staff were lovely. We all said we'd be back one day for lunch.

Went for a tasting and food platter, we weren't acknowledged after waiting for 10 mins so left empty handed and with an empty tummy. Appauling service and very disappointing. Staff member was more interested in telling other kids off rather than serving us.

Dear Hopgood We were very disappointed that you should feel this way. For a winery and cellar door that welcomes children and families with open arms and gives complimentary ice creams and snacks to children, we have always had very positive and glowing reviews. Over Easter, and on the Labour Day weekend, we had many visitors and this sometimes caused short delays. People are often happy to take in the magnificent views of Basia Mille and to walk in the Roman poetry garden if waiting for a table. Most of our guests call and book a table but we are always delighted if people wish to drop in. We always make them welcome. We have a great team at Basia Mille who are delightful with guests. As owners, we place great value on our warm and welcoming style. Basia Mille is one of the most beautiful destinations in South Gippsland, overlooking the Prom and the islands of Bass Strait. If you intend to call in again, perhaps you'd like to ring ahead, book a table and enjoy the true ambience of Basia Mille.

Spending an afternoon relaxing at Basia Mille just reminded us of Tuscany. We recharged our batteries and enjoyed the breathtaking views over Wilsons Prom which left you with a sense of serenity and tranquillity. The cellar door was warm and friendly with a delightful cheese platter filled with local wine and produce that was absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to go back to experience the luxurious accommodation on offer as the as the entire surroundings gave us a sense of welcoming.

Dear Ned Reviewing comments on Trip Advisor prompted us to remind you that our cellar is fully refurbished and very enhanced by this. We do great antipasti lunches too, so we do hope we see you at the cellar again soon, or for a booking in the beautiful Luscious Apartment. The property is looking amazing at the moment. Hoping to see you again soon. Best wishes. Team Basia - Tony, Geraldine and Jennifer.

OK, so I have been to Toscana and am about to revisit this September. We stayed in a 1200year old villa, visited a local Tuscan winery (Guardastelle-Agriturismo & Vineyard) which we loved so much we are staying with them on our return. WELL Basia Mille is the closest thing to our Tuscan experience that my husband & I have found in Australia!!!! From the Olive Grove to the Vineyard, to the Italian style villa, garden settings, vine clad verandahs, wrought iron gates etc etc, even our table cloth was a print of massive sunflowers. The day was perfecto weather, the scenery to Wilsons Prom is spectacular and the laid back rustic service from Tony made us feel relaxed and just happy to be there. The friends we were with just loved it and we talked about it all weekend!! The place was recommended by a friend who saw a write up in the paper, she of course cannot wait to try it for herself. The Pinot Noir was excellent, the platter with local cheeses beautiful & those who had a pie loved them. We have organised a house this Christmas in nearby Waratah Bay & cannot wait to take our adult children, cannot afford to take them to Tuscany but will definitely take them to Basia Mille.

Don't just think about a visit to Basia Mille - just do it. Your hosts Geraldine & Tony will spoil you. The included breakfast was a complete surprise - more options than many luxury hotels and the quality and ambiance of the breakfast room would be hard for them to compete with.
The cellar was a fabulous reason to stay and not explore elsewhere - but be sure to soak up one of the best views in the world. You can't miss it - each villa has its own unique view of Wilsons Promontory. By all means go and explore if you can possibly drag yourself away.

The apartment was amazing with a breathtaking view on the Bay and on the olive grove. We only stayed 2 nights but we will come back next year. The room was very quiet and beautiful. The host were very nice people who helped us with the rest of our trip. They also make a very good Pinot Noir not too expensive for the quality that you can drink on your balcony for a relaxing time while enjoying the wildlife display outside.

Rarely do you come across a B&B with the warmth & charm shown by Basia Mille hosts Geraldine & Tony.
Weather wasn't brilliant, but it mattered not and we would love to revisit and soak up the stunning views on a clear day.
Breakfast was a feature with both hosts doing a splendid job in the kitchen.
Truly a little piece of Tuscany in the South Gippsland hinterland.

Basia Mille truly is a slice of Tuscany nestled in beautiful South Gippsland. Warm Tuscan architecture, surrounded by beautiful gardens, olive trees, grape vines all overlooking the stunning wilsons prom. We couldn't fault the grounds or accommodation, every detail has been considered. However what really set basia Mille apart are for us were our hosts Geraldine and Tony, they cook a beautiful breakfast, serve delicious wine and cheese, and quite simply radiate with a love for each other, their home, the region and life in general. Their positivity and lust for life really is infectious. We recommend coupling a stay at basia Mille with the delights of south gippsland (hiking/walking wilsons prom and its beautiful beaches) for an energising and refreshing city escape.
