We had a fantastic overnight stay here. The landlady was super friendly & even helped us out when a shirt for a wedding we were going to go burnt by driving us into Penrith. Would highly recommend using this as a base if wanting to visit Penrith or the Lakes. It's very reasonably priced & Lazonby is a beautiful part of Cumbria.

We stayed here whilst at a wedding in the next village. The hosts were really friendly and helpful - lending us torches to walk back in the evening and giving us a lift to collect the car next morning. The room and bed were very comfortable and a good breakfast. Great overnight stay.

I had a lovely night in a warm, cosy room. The village is set in beautiful farmland approached by small country roads. I was greeted with a lovely cup of tea and a chat. I went for dinner at a local pub on the recommendation of the hostess and had a delicious meal.

We stayed here for 3 nights to spend some time with our son and his family who were camping nearby.
What a find! Spotlessly clean, cracking room, great breakfast and a fantastic hostess.
We will definitely be back.

My wife and I were in the area for a motorsport event and the owners could not have been more helpful in allowing us to park our trailer in their (small) driveway. The house was spotlessly clean, the owners extremely pleasant and breakfast was superb. We enjoyed a good night's sleep in comfort and can highly recommend this B&B. Plenty of good inns/restaurants nearby. We would not hesitate to stay again when next in the area.
