This was our first stay at Summer House and we will return for sure next year. It is clean, beautifully kept and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are many activities and one could easily spend the whole day there and not get bored. The beach is nice and the children can fish off some of the docks....

We stayed for a week in a 2-br cottage on the water. Comfortable and fully furnished with a full bath, kitchen, gas fireplace, deck and fire ring. The cottage was cozy for four people but relaxing. An on-site general store and cafe (9am-3pm for the cafe) provide for most general needs and the requisite ice cream cone. The grounds have...

Nice park with good size sites. The restaurant we used several times is good value, very friendly servers + well done menu. The only thing I think cld be fixed up is the public ladies/ mens room + showers were a bit grubby.a We camped in a small trailer without washroom facilities so it was used often. All in all...

We enjoyed our first weekend at Summer House Park! This a wonderful campground that is very well cared for and has knowledgeable and friendly staff! One of the seasonal campers Len came down with a trouble light to give us some lighting as we arrived after dark. Kevin, one of the maintenance staff helped us newbies to our trailer get...

We have stayed at Summerhouse on and off for the last 40 odd years and the place keeps getting better and better. We have camped and rented a cottage. This time it was a 2 bedroom cottage which was comfy and cozy on the cool nights thanks to the propane fireplace. It was very well equipped. Our friends have never...

This campground was like stepping back in time. Safe and secure, family atmosphere where everyone becomes friends and no one wants to leave. The kids can go off on their own and we don't have to worry about them. Not only is Tobermory just gorgeous but this campground was a wonderful place to go with young children and our dog...

We love Summer House. I spent most of my summer vacations there as child. We now go at least one long weekend every year. We have camped extensively across Canada & done a fair bit of camping in the United States. Summer House is still our absolute favorite spot. Most sites are quite private & well situated. Staff is always...

Went here for a three day 2 night stay on Oct 2-4, 2015 Rented a full service campsite for our vehicle and a friends trailer. It was very easy for us to get into our spot and set up. The space was really nice. There were five of us in the group. Because we went on an off-season time, we...

It is located in a nice place and great view of a lake. We stayed in the B&B. It was way over priced. For the price we paid, we could spend a night in a 5 star hotel in Toronto! I have no idea why they charge this much. They gotta cut the price by half to start making sense...

We stayed here for five nights. While the lake is nice and there are good activities at the beach, we found the sites very small and jammed together. There was absolutely no privacy here. The washrooms were mostly clean, although the water pressure wasn't the greatest in the showers. We rented the pedal bikes and it was expensive - $7...
