This is a very clean, well kept campground. It's close to a number of Bruce Trail hikes, and there are many amenities to take advantage of, for a price. We rented kayaks while there. It is very dog friendly, with "pickup" stations throughout the park...we are not dog people but this helps keep the place clean. The campsites do not... More

There were 4 of us(2 couples) and we had 2 rooms adjoined by a common room while preparing to hike the Bruce Trail to Tobermory. Very clean comfortable rooms, quiet at night. The included homemade breakfast was really good and all the staff we encountered were really nice and helpful for our first time in the area. Would not hesitate... More

9 of us rented 4 cabins and it worked out great. Cabin 4 with 4 bedrooms was our central location. We appreciated being able to have our meals on-site after a long day of hiking. For some of us the only drawback was no bathtub and for some cabins no shower (except for communal). Weather was great so the lake... More

A group of ten stayed here three days for hiking on the Bruce Trail. Eight stayed in cabins with full kitchens and we stayed in the B&B main building. We cooked our own meal in the cabins. For my wife and I, breakfast was included but since we start hiking early the restaurant did not open early enough. However, they... More

I have not actually stayed at Summer House but have a cottage down the road and visit Summer House often. Staff is great and I know that the cabins are clean as I know some of the staff. Food in restaurant is excellent.

Third time we have been here and still the best private park we have been to so far. We love the provincial park feel with all the trees and we like the sites farther away from the beach as they seem to be bigger and more private. Loved our site so much this year we have already booked it for... More

Our family of 4 has rented an A-frame trailer here two summers in a row. The trailers are clean and convenient. Great for people who don't love tent camping. You just pull your car up and unload. Since the trailer is very small, the added living space under the gazebo deck is quite handy. Our kids are 10 and the... More

I called today to cancel my reservation for September 9th (19 days notice) and they took $50!!! I'm a hard working single mom and find this to be ridiculous!!! I had only booked a tent site for 2 nights and it seems like more than enough notice. I will never stay here again!!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Our campsite was full of trees and had lots of room. We loved the yoga class on Friday morning. We also enjoyed all of the water activities at the beach. We tried paddle boarding for the first time. The Rec Hall also offered activities for adults. We will be back.
