I read all the reviews and info and this hotel didn't disappoint. No electricity but the rooms were super comfy and clean. Well appointed. Staff was lovely. Dinner and breakfast was fine but the best part of all was floating down the river from one end of the resort to the other. We had such fun and so did all...

A nature touch rafts along the River Kwai, living with no electricity, seeing the Stars at night and having fun jumping in the river.. recommend to bring a torch coz those lamps provided by the resort help nothing ;)

This would have to have been the most incredible experience. After a long boat ride to our accomodation on the jungle rafts for 1 night we settled into our quaint little room and went for a refreshing dip in the river wow what can I say AMAZING. Then we were presented with a scrumptious lunch followed by a relaxing afternoon...

Well that's how our guide described it. There are a number of resorts on the river here. I believe this one is the first. There is no electricity at this one, but it was cool enough to sleep without fan or aircon. Its different. But you can get a cold beer and a good feed. The night dance show, is...

This is a Place where we love to return. We have been there at least 5 times Before. The kerosene lamps in the evening, the sound of the river, the mist over the Mountains in the morning. A visit in the Mon village is exciting. We just love it!

We found this hotel on a website and it looked really amazing. When you arrive at the pier, being picked up by a long tail boat, going to the hotel, it's great! But when you arrive in a room with no light, no hot water, you might change your mind. Dinner was really good, breakfast nothing special. Hey said there...

This place bills itself as a "Floatel" and is quite accurate. They are literally floating rooms on the river itself. There is no electricity in the entire place and so you will need to be prepared with fully charged powerbanks if you want to keep your electronics charged up. Of course, there's almost no phone signal here so you may...

Dear mis0soup, There are many places across the website such as homepage, room, FAQ and location pages that say we do not use electricity. The following the sample copy (in black bold text ) from our homepage. "Due to our ecology conservation concept, the entire floatel does NOT use electricity but rather utilizes traditional kerosene lamps at night maintaining a...
