The location is great. It is remote, and quiet being away from the busy tourist areas. Bring your own food because there is not much around the area. The restaurant at the resort was not promoting any menus. There is one good restaurant nearby called Somai but it is a 10 minute drive. The star gazing at night is awesome and you can see the flights over head as they leave Bangkok on their way to the middle east and western Europe. The big negative is the condition if the cabins on the water. There are in a serous state of disrepair. To the point of being dangerous. The toilet was not working properly. The shower was awful and with a hole in the wall looking into the shower of the next cabin. The walls are so thin, you can hear everything in the next cabin. Even snoring and low conversations. Privacy is non existent. We found bugs in the bed each night. The front deck has just one chair. Why is that? Most people are in groups of two and someone ends up sitting on the floor. Don't ever bring small children as the deck has no protection from the fast moving river. Even if an adult falls into the river they will be swept away quickly. At night after a few drinks it can be risky. I am certain there have been accidents at this place in the river. The current is swift and deep. There are many good places on the river and I don't think this is one of them. The staff were great but not engaging or proactive. Just there. This might be a good place for large groups who want to make some noise and party. Have a good look around before you book.

Nice resort with appropriate room price and good service, this resort has everything we need, breakfast and dinner served. We went there on Fri and Sat before the new year, it was such calm and relax place. We will back to this resort again next time.

its defenitely not 5 star, i rather would rate it a good 3star.. but for the price of about 1500 THB (about 40 EUR) per night incl breakfast n dinner its absolute ok. we stayed with a group of 12 people in 6 loft rooms. futton beds were very comfy. size is ok, but no cabinet or wardrobe. hv to "live out of the suitcase". drawback is the open bathroom, which is full of insects n bats in eve n at night. f&b is average. what is truly impressive is the nature, peacefulness n the architecture n design of this place. they offer river rafting at 150 THB (abt 4 EUR) each person. absolutely competitively priced! would i stay again? for 1-2 nights, yes, but for longer period n for higher price - no way!

This place has everything we looking for, they have a very tasty dinner and lovely breakfast included. The owner of this place are so nice and friendly, the room was so clean and nice view, the staff are so lovely even the dog are made us happy too. We will back to this place again and again for sure...

Unfortunately for me this was one of the worst experiences in Thailand.. From the moment we arrived in Sai Yok, a lady promise to send the driver to pick up us, but he didnt arrive.. So it was very messy for us and we didnt know what to do in the middle of nowhere and night time.. For our luck, a lady in a 7-11 manage to call them so to pick us up.. When we arrived at the hotel, we expect a peaceful enviroment and again no.. We passed with all our stuff in front of the party (actually only for thai people, who looked at us like alien).. The party with the live awful band held till midnight in their restaurant area, so no option enjoy the peace of nature !!!! It was very clear what we were not welcome.. They served us a dinner in the room, without requesting it, as in their restaurant were only thais that partying..The room very basic between 2-3 stars hotel..The only good thing was the view but we have a very bad luck, as drunk thai people shouting and partying till 2 after midnight with agressive and unrespectful behaviour.. Next morning we leave.. Breakfast close to nothing..This hotel ruins the tranquility of the nature.. Unprofessional at all and for sure not 5 star hotel.. Absolut joke.. I felt sorry, because it is a nice location and the dont respect it at all.. I also didnt felt welcome as a foreigner..
