A one night stop over en route to Chiang Khan cycling on the Mekong. The hotel sits on the bank of the Mekong and has a number of different style rooms all clean and comfortable. The bathrooms could benefit from some design improvements. Good restaurant and very friendly service. Would certainly recommend as a stop over either on the way to Chiang Kahn or Nong Khai.

We had a room upstairs with a million dollar Mekong River view from the balcony and thru the big double sliding doors. The room was big and the wifi, fridge and air-con all worked fine. The room was clean but the whole hotel needs some TLC. In fact, our toilet hose came adrift on first use causing 20 minutes of waterpark fun and games. The staff are very casual, they are helpful but in their own time. Just accept that it's a pretty laid back place and that includes the customer service They have spent a fortune on props for photo opportunities. The weirdest one was to climb a flight of stairs with no handrail to reach a pink door My oh my, the Thai ladies do like their photo ops Wasn't very impressed with dinner or breakfast and neither was my Thai wife. It was the old story of ask for not spicy and they can't help themselves. They do put an ice block in the bottom of their beer glasses and keep then in the freezer. That impressed me An altogether interesting experience. Shades of Thai Fawlty Towers

I love the view from our room for seeing Mekong River from dusk till dawn at Sangkhom district. It is peaceful time. However, it would be great, if the hotel would allow the customers to have their choices both rice porridge with pork and panned egg for the breakfast. To choose only one choice between rice porridge with pork and panned egg is too limited choice.
