Close enough to the main road and 'walking street' (Friday night) and pleasant enough, but rather basic. Finished in polished cement with some foreign touches (Beatles cushions, line drawing of Leaning Tower of Pisa etc.) Limited parking on a busy night. Good for a night or two and good value.
5 stars because of the value. Nice room at a low price. Clean and well maintained. Owners take pride in the hotel and are always on the property. Owners can speak some English and Spanish which is helpful. On a side street with rooms set back from the road. Very quiet.
Just returned home today after staying for 3 nights at Tummi. A very nice, good and central place to stay in Chum Phae. Clean, modern and comfortable rooms, you would be hard pressed to find better for the price asked. Only a couple of English language channels on the tv, but then i am not staying here to watch the box !! A number of small restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, plus the Chum Phae Walking Street just a 10 minutes stroll away. I will certainly stay here again when in the area.
Checking in that place because the other planned hotel didn't let us in the room before 14.00 Pm, no matter we arrived at Tummi House and I was really impressed from the outside from the buildings, looks like not finished nor painted but....I found out that it was on purpose and that the rooms where the same style designed Rather new rooms with working AC and hot water, fridge Big screen tv perfect internet big parking and clean, just go there and find out by yourself The price from less than 500 Baht will not be the problem for the standard of the rooms will be back there when visiting that Area
A new development to Chumphae in a great location. Clean rooms and a good price. Just a short strole from the koosai market. There is a European restaurant and bar directly opposite the market where you get the best food and coldest beer around. Tummi house is well located.
