We stayed here in October on route from Darwin to Kakadu. It takes about 2 hours to get here from Darwin, or more if you stop off along the way, but is an easy drive. We booked into a cabin as it was hot and they are air conditioned (the tents are not). The cabins are lovely and spacious with...

We were delighted with our stay at Wildman . Our little " habitat " building was beautifully appointed, but the brand new owners are flush with ideas for upgrades in the future. Meals were exquisitely prepared by chef Gunther. The Kaduka appetizer for two had both kangaroo as well as crocodile . We took several nature excursions with the knowledgeable...

This is one of those reviews where I struggle to find where to begin; fabulous, fantastic, unbelievable, value for the money, service above and beyond; every accolade I can use so let be try and refine my exuberance. We visited in November the end of the Wet Season; not the best weather time to visit but the Lodge was still...

We spent 3 days here in October and enjoyed our stay, particularly thanks to Brad who we thought was a brilliant guide. (He also collected us and returned us to our hotel in Darwin.) Our habitat was comfortable but, as another reviewer has pointed out, it does need some tlc and some updating - a cupboard door didn't close, the...

This place is divine. The habitats that we stayed in are fresh clean and have a beautiful view of the Australian landscape, not to mention the gorgeous wallaby the feeds on the grass out the front. The restaurant is simply amazing, great variety of food for breakfast lunch and dinner all served by the ever friendly and helpful staff. We...

Wildman wilderness lodge is a truly unique experience. We stayed in a habitat overlooking the Savannah. The room was very clean and comfortable and the view incredible. The home billabong is just a short walk down the path and is teeming with wildlife. Crocodiles, wallabies, buffalo, corellas, whistling ducks and kites, cockatoos, lizards, fish... It was just an incredible experience....

We spent 3 nights here and it was the highlight of our nearly 3 week trip down under. I agree with other recent reviewers about the staff issues, food, and overall care/maintenance. Brad and Chizo really made this trip for us with their engaging personalities and true enjoyment of their jobs. The Habitat we used was clean, comfortable and the...

Out of the 3 accommodation we stayed outside of Darwin this was by far the best one. Great spot, very welcoming staff and a nice dinner. Didn't see any crocs in the river next to the resort but you can't blame them for that ;-)

This Lodge is very special to my Wife and me because of its cool heritage and its story. Originally over 70% of the buildings were located on the banks of the Mitchell River 3000 km away on the 600,000 ha Wrotham Park Station in the middle of Cape York in Queensland. We stayed at the exclusive Voyages Wrotham Park Lodge...

This is a tough one...there are the good points and the bad points... My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at the Wildman and, overall, enjoyed the experience but it was, sadly, fraught with frustration on so many levels. It should be a luxury experience, not because of the price tag but because all the basic elements are there....a...
