Arranged family dinner for 7, (on 22nd december), with my also taking overnight accommodation after get together. Food, service, breakfast and o/nite room couldn't be faulted. A venue which marries olde world character with all 21st century comforts...very impressed and highly recommended. ..

Incredibly slow service, lukewarm and uninspiring food, not worth the inflated prices. Can't understand how this place has had awards. We were looking forward to this meal but we will not be returning.
We had Christmas dinner off the Christmas menu, absolutely terrible, basically dry leftovers reheated. The roast potatoes were soggy, the veg was a random mix of bits and bobs (one sprout, a bit of kale and peas?) the turkey dry, soggy lump of stuffing. All...More
