The Moulin de Gauty is a beautiful B&B found at the very end of the road deep in a small valley behind the pretty village of St Jean d'Alcas. Our room was eclectic, a small living area, a substantial bathroom and a bedroom that had an immensely high ceiling with one wall covered in clocks. The things that stand out...

This chambre d ' hote was a marvellous and unique experience. It was a bit difficult to find but well worth the effort. The room was decorated in a most interesting fashion. It is in a beautiful natural setting close to a small river. Our hostess was very friendly and prepared a lovely evening meal for us in the garden....

A great place to stay! Nature is all around, we found 31species of orchids, 2 different fossils and saw many birds of pray. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is great, the owner knows all and she is very helpful to assist you to find the best spot for your trip, hike or restaurant. Recommended!

The owner/hostess Jocelyne was delightful and accommodating in every way. True the place was not easy to find, but everything else was worth the effort. We wish our schedule had allowed staying more than one night. And if you like cats, you are in for a bonus.

Jocelyne Garcia's beautifully renovated ancient mill is situated in a quiet valley. Along with a wonderful breakfast of fresh fruits, breads, confiture and honey she shares her wealth of knowledge about the region: History, botany, hiking trails, restaurants, - she knew the answer to all our questions. Our room in the mill had a ceiling at least 40 feet high...
