What a great hotel and SPA facilities! We loved it and will return for sure. Hotel was very nice, clean and respectful of covid restrictions. SPA is simply wonderful and it was very well organized. Breakfast was delicious as well as dinner we had in Carl Brasserie. Our room had a sea view which was perfect! The staff were very helpful and kind, from reception to the restaurant. Special thanks to a lovely lady in reception who found our lost phone and returned it to us :) Thank you once again, we cannot wait to return!
The Hotel does not live up to a standard of a 4-star hotel demanding this price. We were staying there on the 14th-15th of October in the so called Superior room, and it was supposed to be a romantic stay, but it started with a key that didn't work. So we had to go down to the reception to fix it. Then I wanted to take a bath and decided to use the hotel's products in the shower, but standing already naked in it I discovered that there were no shampoo, shower gel or conditioner in the dispensers. We contacted the reception and were told that it was the mistake of housekeeping! Well, isn't it obvious? We didn't need any explanations of that kind! Of course, it was the mistake of housekeeping, but this mistake should never have occurred in a 4-star hotel!! It was fixed immediately, but the fact is that we had to think about it and were disturbed while trying to enjoy our quality time together. The water tap in the bathroom had the wrong size - it was almost impossible to wash your hands properly because it was too short, and the water was running on the table. The spa section was ok, but not overwhelming. The hotel promises luxury, but it didn't feel like it! Luxury is all about comfort and details, and it was not the case!…
For a hotel that demands this price is far from what you expect to get. Don’t blame Covid-19. It’s service that is lacking. No shampoo in room. Took over 30 minutes to be replaced. TV information page didn’t work. This detailed how to call reception to how to operate safe. So pretty important but didn’t work. Table service at lunch on the terrace was underwhelming and non existent. Room service in the evening after 21:30 is basically a salad or a sandwich to which the kitchen decides. On this occasion was a chicken salad. Makes no sense. Is this what service means to this hotel. They charge a premium and fall very short. Room service has nothing to do with Covid. I asked and was told no this is the policy and you can only get a salad. I would not recommend this hotel especially at the price they charge. I feel ripped off and very disappointed. …
Meet the expectations? More or less. The expectations were quite high. On arrival the parking was in quite a distance. However it is underground. Just be aware that you have a chance to get attacked by nest building birds, an slip and slide in bird poop Fast check in. No information what so ever about breakfast, dinner surroundings. Nothing! The Spa-room with sea view and a huge balcony Is very good. Match the price.. The room ha everything! Accept soap in the shower, and limited coffee powder. The double bed is actually two single beds pushed together. That annoys me to insanity! The spa is no less than excellent. The variety is great, and the precautions in terms of COVID 19, fantastic! Breakfast sucks. I agree with other reviews. Pre-made to early and it’s notable. The option to go the sea, in your bathrope, take a swim or just enjoy the view. Stunning! Outside dinner with service from the bar- Excellent! Great attention! Two young waiters, went out of their way to make sure that you were comfortable! Will probably be back. However, ATTENTION TO DETAIL!! …
