Accomodation options are not numerous on Northland's West Coast. Accomodation options at a high standard and with excellent service are rare. Waipoua Lodge provided a special and luxurious place to stay.

Very tranquil accommodation within the Waipoua Forest. Hosts were very friendly and very helpful even under very sad circumstances. They made sure we were able to watch our Australian AFL Grand Final and served dinner afterwards. Very to recommend.
