Detailed Reviews
The property was amazing and was perfect for our large group. The scenery was gorgeous. The commerical kitchen made our life so much easier and to top it off the property manager rod was an absolute pleasure to deal with and made our stay so much better. Highly recommended to others and we will definitely be coming back

Noonaweena is a perfect place to step away from the everyday and recharge.
Our large group was diverse in personalities and abilities, and everyone departed reluctantly having been so well catered for and spoilt.
Adam and Sean have an amazing team who find no request too difficult, and also went above and beyond with customer service and kindness.
The food was amazing with dietary needs taken into consideration and choices to suit everyone.
The rooms were clean and relaxing, and the venue itself nestled in a bushland setting with pool, spa, tennis court, well appointed common areas and walking tracks gave plenty of options to keep active or relax. Rodney the resident peacock was also a star attraction.
I can't recommend Noonaweena highly enough and I am looking forward to our next stay.
Many thanks Adam, Sean & team!

My husband and I stayed in the Treetops Suite for 4 nights between Christmas and NY and we loved Noonaweena. We were welcomed by the lovely Simone, one of the retreat managers, who showed us around the accommodation and was very helpful and friendly. The accommodation itself is much better than it looks in the photos: gone is the purple wall pictured in the photos of the bedroom, and most of the boldly coloured artworks throughout. Instead there are lovely throws and bedding that are neutral and have a (very tasteful) Australian vibe that goes well with the lovely bush surrounds of the suite. The treetops suite is huge! This includes the enormous outdoor deck and bbq area. We spent loads of time in the jacuzzi on the deck, which is great for enjoying a glass of your favourite tipple while watching the sunset. The jet spa bath in the bathroom was also a big hit with us. There were lots of lovely touches that went with our stay, a chilled complimentary bottle of bubbles (and glasses) on arrival, and loads of other complimentary goodies including Byron Bay cookies, Lindt balls, a lovely Christmas pudding and generous breakfast provisions (eggs, bacon, mushrooms, bread, tomatoes, muesli, yoghurt, fresh juice...couldn’t ask for more!). Also robes and slippers to use during our stay. This is lovely place to stay any time of year, and so easy for a luxurious weekend getaway from Sydney. We will definitely be going back.

We found Noonaweena on hotels.com when looking for accommodation within close proximity to a family wedding being held close by. My brother and his friend are visiting from the USA for the event and we were looking for a villa that would ensure we were all together for a special family weekend. When we typed our numbers and dates into the hotels.com search engine, the Gymea House at Noonaweena popped up with 5 bedrooms for a discounted rate. I forwarded the link to my mum and brother in the USA and we agreed to book it in. This was in August 2019 for our event in May 2020. In January 2020, one week after the invitations have been received for the event, we receive an email from Rob Forsythe telling us that we have booked a single room in our villa for 6 adults and a child, and we will need to book the rest of the rooms at the same rate. I phone him immediately and he stands by his story - we have booked a single room in the Gymea House. Frustrated I email him our booking confirmation clearly showing that we have booked the entire house. He responds saying he has tried to do the same thing on the website and the rate he got was 5 times higher. Having worked in hotels I now realise that the property has either uploaded their information into the hotels.com website incorrectly when we booked OR he has had an increased demand for rooms from the wedding down the road and realises he can get a better rate. We have been emailing back and forth and he maintains that the error is ours and he will not honor our booking. The best he can offer is a rate that is 4 times higher than what we have booked, and that if we are not prepared to pay that he suggests we take up the free cancellation policy on the hotels.com website. Rod's attitude and appalling customer service will ensure that we let everyone we can know about our disgraceful experience with this property.

Hi Megan, I'm really sorry we couldn't work out a soulation that was acceptable to you , I can't understand how you were able to book 6 adults and 1 child into 1 bedroom . The accommodation is still vacant and the offer of 50% reduced rate is available should you change your mind . I hope you find alternative accommodation within your budget and you have a great and memorable wedding Rod Forsythe

We stayed here the night before and the night of our wedding, and were completely blown away. It is such a gorgeous place, with everything you could need (right down to the catering kitchen, the ice machine, the STUNNING infinity pool and spa) and even a second house far enough away from the main house that my family and their kids could sleep soundly while our friends could continue to listen to music and dance. Everyone was completely blown away how gorgeous it was, and the little touches made by staff with the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were hugely appreciated. But most of all - the gorgeous generosity and hospitality of the wonderful managers Adam and Sean. We hugely appreciate everything you did to make it such an easy perfect day, thank you X a million!! We will absolutely be back!!

We stayed for a long weekend in late October, following the relaxation of Covid restrictions in NSW.
A group of 12 adults and 10 kids, we found Biram Lodge to be perfect for our needs. Plenty of room, great fun cooking together in the communal kitchen. The kids spent all weekend in the pool and the hot-tub. It was great fun.
People commented on the comfortable rooms and luxuriant nature of the lodge. We enjoyed use of the tennis courts, pool table and ping pong. It was great eating together al fresco and enjoying the beautiful sunsets.
On our last night, it was cold enough to light the open log fire and we had a great evening sitting around with a few wines.
Adam and Simone were very accommodating hosts. Pre-arrival communications were quick and clear. Adam also made delicious cocktails for us which we enjoyed by the pool on our first evening.
Highly recommended!

We were fortunate enough to be able to celebrate our wedding at Noonaweena.
From our initial enquiry to departing the morning post wedding, our host's Adam & Sean were nothing short of professional.
Their attention to detail was unbelievable

An incredible location, accommodation, food and staff. The facilities were immaculate, lovely gardens, infinity pool and spa. Recreation lounges, outside decks and peaceful surrounds make for a wonderful place for a getaway or conference. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The food was excellent and plenty of it. A great range. Nothing was too much trouble for our primary hosts Adam and Simone, all of the staff were exceptional. I would highly recommend Noonaweena.

I was privileged enough to win 2 stays at Noonaweena. It's an amazing, quiet, tranquil and relaxing setting. The fridge was fully stocked with Breakfast foods which we barely got through. The decor in the Treetops room was unbelievable. I wanted to take home the huge rustic dining table. Very modern technology. Breakfast on the balcony listening to nature was very memorable. The bed, spa, lounge and kitchen all wonderfully presented and clean. A stroll around the grounds is a definite must. I have lovely photos that captured the season. Make sure you look through the website. The staff are all welcoming and friendly and can't do enough to make you happy and content. The servo down the road serves the best burgers, there's a mini market, an arty shop, and fresh fruit & veg grown locally. We stopped at the Macadamia farm where the people were very friendly. Just down the road we bought bags and bags of oranges for the juice fest when we arrived home. The drive is awesome. A leisurely drive toward the Hunter Valley or Singleton will take you to a large pub/cafe where there is a spectacular arty model of ants on a car. Very fascinating. You can dine, pick up some jam, talk to the locals, listen to a band or just stop for coffee. Noonaweena itself is secluded and access is very private and secure. The pool area is wonderful and you can take great photos. Perfect for an intimate wedding reception, and accommodation for guests on the premises. Amazing place. Thank you for your hospitality and making us feel like family.
