We stayed here on the first night of a bike trip from Donaueschingen to Vienna. The Jaegerhaus is about 7k beyond Fridingen on the path along the Danube. This family run place was in our top 5 favourite places to stay as we cycled along the Danube. Good comfortable clean rooms, a hard working interesting family running the in and the farm, a shed full of cattle lowing. After a hearty breakfast, the patronne insisted on packing us a bag of snacks for our day;s cycle (much appreciated).

A well earned beer on the verandah overlooking the valley finished a great day. The rooms are simply comfortable and spotless with a large verandah space. Dinner in the resturant was fantastic -...
